I've never seen anything like this.

I have never seen an outpouring of support and a will to help like what has transpired since the days after the earthquake in Haiti. It’s mind-blowing.

My e–mail inbox and voicemail is dominated by people either informing me about an upcoming Haiti fundraiser, asking for help putting something together, asking what they can do... and on and on it goes. It’s incredible. They haven’t let up for a second. Kids as young as five informing me that they are making bracelets to sell, 13 year–olds trying to put together a social, businesses donating portions of their payroll or sales. You name it, it’s going on.

Again, I’ve seen people spring into action before, but never on this scale. And then there are the t–shirts. The "I Heart Haiti" t–shirts. What started as a quickly thrown together idea last week the day after the quake has turned into a monster. It’s basically all we’re doing at work. We just keep ordering more and more and more. Yesterday I saw 3 people wearing them while out shopping. People are coming to our office with $1,500 to purchase shirts. It’s not out of the question to think that we may have created a $100,000 charity t–shirt.

Keep it going. We’re on board. This is a great town.
