Today’s Horoscope
MOON ALERT Avoid shopping or making important decisions until 2 p.m. After that the moon moves from Cancer into Leo.
ARIES (March 21-April 19) It’s easy to dread Mercury retrograde times because of all the confusion and transportation delays it inevitably entails. However, in the month ahead, you have a magnificent opportunity to wrap up loose details related to inheritances, taxes, debt and insurance matters. Use this to your advantage!
TAURUS (April 20-May 20) You will definitely be involved with ex-partners more than usual this month because Mercury retrograde will bring them out of the woodwork. In some ways, this might not be pleasant. But in other ways, it gives you an opportunity for closure on many issues. ("Slam!") Just kidding.
GEMINI (May 21-June 20) You’re subject to confusion, delays and silly mistakes during any Mercury retrograde time because Mercury is your ruler. And yes, this particular Mercury retrograde will be crippling in terms of efficiency at work. (Bummer.) Expect delays, mixed-up communications and goofy mistakes. (Groan.) But it’s a good time to finish what you have already started!
CANCER (June 21-July 22) Old flames and ex-lovers will be back on the scene this month for many of you. This could be promising... or not. (Makeup sex or screaming fights.) However, this month is a great time to finish creative projects or anything you began that is child-related. Good luck!
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22) This month you will repair whatever needs to be fixed at home. No question. In some ways, it’s like going back in time and finishing something you started perhaps seven or eight years ago. You can also mend family relationships. Bit by bit and the job is finished.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22) Just grin and bear it because the month ahead will be full of transportation delays, confused communications, misplaced paperwork and missed appointments. That’s because this Mercury retrograde will impact all the daily tasks you do.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22) Despite silly mistakes and delays, you can use the month ahead to establish greater control of your financial scene and your cash flow. If you’re looking for work, go back to where you have either worked or applied before. It will be easy to finish old business.
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21) Although Mercury retrograde begins in Sagittarius, it slips back into Scorpio. (Yes, that’s you.) This means you’ll be dealing with ex-partners and running into people from your past. Allow extra time for everything you do because you will be dogged by delays and silly errors.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21) You can use this month (with Mercury retrograde) to dig in and do some serious research because it will be surprisingly easy to work behind the scenes; not only that, it will be easy for you to go into the past searching for answers and solutions. Yes!
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19) Now and in the month ahead, you’ll be running into old acquaintances. ("Hi Frank.") You’ll see old friends plus people you were once involved with in groups and clubs. November is a good month for you to rethink future goals. Hmmm.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18) Relations with parents and bosses and other authority figures from your past will be significant this month. But you also might deal with old knee-jerk habit patterns with authority figures (the way it’s always been with you). You’re independent and you don’t like being told what to do!
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20) Expect travel delays as well as errors in publishing, medicine and the law plus cancellation or rescheduling of school events in the month ahead. However, this is a great month to finish your thesis and wrap up writing/studying projects.
TODAY’S BIRTHDAY
Playwright/actor Sam Shepard (1943) shares your birthday. You like to be abreast of whatever is happening in society because you’re a modern person living in a real world. (You follow TV news and newspapers.) At times, you’re outspoken because you like to puncture sacred cows. Many of you align your allegiance to a particular cause. You will very likely face an important decision in the coming year. Choose wisely.
