Horoscope
MOON ALERT We have the all clear today to shop and make important decisions. The moon is in Scorpio.
ARIES (March 21-April 19)
Power struggles with authority figures, especially parents, are possible today. This is never pleasant. However, it could be your opportunity to get things out in the open. Obviously, you have the right to air your grievances. Hopefully, this will help a new beginning.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20)
Be aware of what you do and say today. Avoid dangerous neighbourhoods or crime-ridden areas. At least, take precautions if you are in areas like this. You might also have to repair something that is broken in your surroundings. (Not a Band-Aid job -- a total fix-it.)
GEMINI (May 21-June 20)
Intense encounters with others over money, earnings, cash flow or possessions could arise today. You might be forced to defend yourself or stand up for your own position. You might also have to fix something you own. It's time to stand on your own two feet.
CANCER (June 21-July 22)
Difficulties with partners and close friends are highly likely today. You have a difference of opinion and, furthermore, each might criticize the other, especially in an effort to "improve" them. Lighten up. Postpone important discussions for tomorrow or Sunday.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)
Avoid places with high crime rates, dark alleys and that sort of thing. It's easy to attract violence or dark situations. It's also hard for you to understand your motivations today. You might think you're doing something for the right reason instead of the real reason.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Either because of the challenge of others or your own mental mindset, you might decide to make sweeping changes in your life today. If these changes benefit others (or society) as well as yourself, then you will be successful. If not, everyone loses.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
This is tricky day dealing with authority figures. You could encounter power struggles or a breakdown in the relationship. On the flip side, you might introduce improved, new and different ways of doing things and everybody buys into it. Hard to say.
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Avoid controversial subjects like politics, religion and racial issues today because people will get intensely emotionally involved. Too many feelings! (There goes logic out the window.) Some of you will decide to quit something involving higher education, publishing, medicine and the law.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Disputes about shared property, wills, inheritances and such could be nasty today. This is a very poor day for discussions about these subjects unless you finally have the courage to stand up for your own interests. That's different. Either way, you will face opposition.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Difficulties with partners are highly likely today. Some partnerships will end. Others will have intense discussions about areas that have been limping along, sort of ignored, but now can no longer be dismissed. Whatever is not working will have to be fixed completely or rejected.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
This is the classic day for equipment breakdowns at work. You might even feel this sense of "breakdown" with your health in some way. (It might be time to get out of those wet clothes and into a dry martini.) Seriously, do whatever is good for you today.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)
Power struggles about children or even with children might take place today. (Never raise your hand to a child because it exposes your midriff.) Remind yourself that you are the adult, and also that you were a kid once, remember? To a kid, everything is so important and so "now." Be gentle.
TODAY'S BIRTHDAY
Actor/comedian/musician Bret McKenzie (1976) shares your birthday. You are a visionary with a childlike view of the world who is constantly looking for ways to make your dreams come true. You are fun-loving, energetic and, above all, a truth seeker. Despite your innocent demeanor, you know how to make money! In the year ahead, you will work hard to build or construct something that is important to you. Your rewards will soon follow.
