Today's Horoscope

MOON ALERT: Avoid shopping or making important decisions after 10:45 a.m. for the rest of the day. The moon is in Libra.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

This is a confusing day at work. It might be due to a misunderstanding or it could be due to intended deceit on the part of someone. Either way, the result is the same. Therefore, double check your work and assume nothing. Listen to your hunches.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

You might be disappointed in a romantic partner or a social situation. There's a strong likelihood this disappointment is based on unexpressed expectations. Always a bummer. Just remember: unexpressed expectations almost always lead to disappointment. People can't read your mind.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

Something going on at home could demoralize or confuse you. You might feel you have to surrender your power or give up your wishes about something. You certainly can't assert yourself. If possible, postpone important discussions until another day when things will more likely go your way.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

This is a day that is ripe for misunderstandings. Despite your desire to talk to others or enlighten people about your ideas, at the same time, you are second-guessing yourself. Your confidence is shaky. Knowing this, don't act. Wait till another time.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

Be careful with your money because some confusion regarding financial matters is almost a given. Therefore, if shopping, count your change and keep your receipts. If you're wheeling and dealing in business and commerce, double check everything and do not act if you have any doubts at all.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

The sun is in your sign opposed by fuzzy Neptune. This robs you of your energy and makes you feel confused and uncertain about things. Relations with others are uncertain. In fact, there might be outright deception. It's a poor day to negotiate contracts or important agreements.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

You probably feel listless and lacking in ambition. Don't worry because this is par for the course for lots of people. It is what it is. Well, to be more specific, the sun is opposed by fuzzy Neptune, which drains its energy and sends out confusing signals.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

When dealing with friends or members of a group, if you feel something fishy is going on -- it is. Trust your gut instincts. This is not a good day to strategize future goals or agree to important plans and ideas in a group setting. Just tread water.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

In conversation with authority figures -- bosses, parents, teachers and VIPs -- be very clear (at least to the best of your ability) about everything you say. Also clarify what others say to you because confusion is rampant. A lack of clarification could be costly.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

You might have greater awareness and sensitivity to beauty -- gorgeous architecture, art, or the crafts from other cultures as well as profound philosophical ideas, but think twice before you spend your money or make a commitment because all is not as it appears. Beware!

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

If you need to make a decision about an inheritance or shared property, taxes or debt -- postpone this decision for another time because is a poor day for this sort of thing. Confusion, and even deceit, will dog your steps. Forewarned is forearmed.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

Conversations with partners and close friends will be a bit like two ships passing in the night. Either you will be confused or others will be. Clarity will elude you. In fact, someone might be untruthful. Yes, it could get that bad.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY

Singer/performer Michael Jackson (1958-2009) shared your birthday. You are a curious combination because although you are spontaneous, imaginative and impulsive, and capable of wonderful improvisation, you want structure and organization around you. (You hate chaos.) You like to separate your public life from your private life. Good news. This year might be one of the most powerful years of your life. Dream big.
