MOON ALERT CAUTION: Avoid shopping or making important decisions all day. The moon is in Sagittarius.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

Because your appreciation of beauty is heightened today, give yourself a chance to enjoy inspiring places. Visit parks, boutiques, museums and art galleries. Enjoy seeing the handicrafts of other cultures. Travel for pleasure will delight. Romance with someone "different" might easily blossom.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

You feel tenderhearted to others, especially those who are in need. If you can help others, by all means do so. However, this is a poor day (despite your altruistic impulse) to make important decisions about shared property, inheritances or anything you own jointly with others.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

This is a wonderful day to shmooz with loved ones. Conversations will flow easily. It's a perfect day for a long lunch. Better yet, if you can play hooky, run away! Enjoy good times with others but avoid important decisions. Just hang loose and enjoy face time.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

It will be easy to get the co-operation of others at work today because there's a sense of mutual simpatico going on. You appreciate what they are going through and they appreciate what you are dealing with. In fact, others are very inclined to be sympathetic and helpful today.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

Starry-eyed romance can begin for some of you today. (Just the way you like it.) Playful activities with children will delight. In particular, you might feel especially softhearted or sympathetic to a child. New love that begins now will be full of pixie dust and illusion. (Oops.)

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

You might be full of home-decorating ideas today. You might also want to entertain at home or have tea and sympathy with a family member who needs an emotional boost or a sympathetic ear. (Strange how body parts are needed. A hand, an ear, a shoulder -- but no one wants the finger.)

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

You're highly imaginative today. And because of this, it's a fantastic day for writers or anyone involved in a creative activity. Many of you will spend a lot of time daydreaming and fantasizing. A lovely day to shmooz, as well. (See the moon alert above.)

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Be very careful with finances today; you will be tempted to buy all kinds of things because they will look so appealing. But in truth, this is a poor day for major expenditures or important financial decisions because your mind is too pie-in-the-sky.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

This is a great day to shmooz with others. It's very easy to establish a warm, mutual simpatico with anyone because you sense what they want and need and they will respond to you as well. Warm friendships and romantic connections might begin now.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Solitude in beautiful surroundings will please you and, no doubt, be a good idea if you can swing this for little while today. After all, you're out there being all things to all people right now. You need to refuel and restore yourself. Hide somewhere.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Warm friendships will become closer today and new friendships might begin. It's very easy to be sympathetic to others and, of course, this is the basis of any good connection. People are not self-centred today. Quite the opposite, they are very caring.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

Romance with your boss might begin today. Possibly, others will ask for your creative input about design, layout, office arrangements or something to do with the appearance of things. People see your kindness today and that's important. Kindness is the most important thing.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY

Duchess of Cambridge Catherine (Kate) (1982) shares your birthday today. Family is important to you and your ambitions (which are considerable) are for your family as well as yourself. You are focused, hard-driving and strong-willed. You take your responsibilities seriously. Many of you are workaholics who are committed to your tasks. In the year ahead, you will learn something precious that will help you for the rest of your life.
