April 24 Horoscope

MOON ALERT We have the all clear today to shop and make important decisions. The moon is in Gemini.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

All communications are favoured today. This is a good day to enjoy chatting to relatives, neighbours and siblings. Short trips will be pleasant. Make a To Do list for errands. Great day to write, market, sell, act or teach. Yada, yada, yada.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

You feel better about your financial situation today because things seem to be falling into place (fingers crossed). Trust your money-making ideas. You'll enjoy shopping today, especially for beautiful goodies for yourself and loved ones. Keep an eye out for collectibles. ("Look at that!")

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

This is a pleasant day for you because the moon is in your sign along with fair Venus. This means it's easy for you to be charming and diplomatic with everyone. Choose today to smooth over troubled waters with others. (Everyone loves you.)

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

Solitude in beautiful surroundings will appeal to you today. Socially speaking, you've been busy lately. Others have been making demands on your time (and will continue to do so). But perhaps today, you can sneak away somewhere to have private time just for you.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

This is a particularly good day to relate to others in group situations, especially females. Talk about future goals with someone because their input could help you. Mild flirtations could lead to something promising. It's a pleasant day.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

You will briefly be high-viz today, no question. Others will notice you, especially people in authority -- bosses, parents, teachers and VIPs. (Incidentally, this also includes the police.) Good day to ask for what you want. Flirtations with a boss could be interesting.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

You have that feeling you want something new and different to happen. Travel somewhere if you can. Go someplace you've never been before. Visit ethnic restaurants or unusual boutiques and shops. Talk to people from other countries or different backgrounds. Explore your world!

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Gifts, goodies and favours from others will easily come your way today. This is a good day to ask to borrow something or ask for a favour. It's also a reasonably good day to ask for a loan or mortgage. Basically, the universe is receptive to you. (Physical romance might be enticing.)

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Because the moon is opposite your sign, you will have to go more than halfway when dealing with others today. However, this will not be a problem. You're happy to co-operate or even compromise on something. Relations with female friends and partners will be friendly.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

This is a good day to take care of busy little things, which ultimately free you up for bigger projects. Get rid of those nagging, little items you've been procrastinating about. (Aaggh.) Get better organized. Address health issues, as well. Do yourself this favour!

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

A fun-loving day! This is a great day to shmooze, see the theatre, enjoy musical performances, attend sports events and have fun with playful activities with children. You feel flirtatious, prankish and ready for a few laughs. Give yourself a treat.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

This is a good day to focus on home and domestic matters. Family discussions will go well. In fact, you might want to entertain at home. (Invite the gang over!) You'll also enjoy tweaking or redecorating your digs to make you feel happier about where you live. Good day to explore real-estate possibilities as well.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY

Singer Barbra Streisand (1942) shares your birthday. You have a strong, nurturing, protective instinct. Not only do you feel this way for family members and loved ones, your feelings extend beyond to include your community and even your country. Motivated by this concern, you often write or communicate your thoughts to others. (And you're not afraid to flaunt convention!) A lovely social year that will enrich relationships awaits you. Enjoy!
