MOON ALERT After 5:30 a.m. avoid shopping or making important decisions. The moon is in Capricorn.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

Private details about your personal life might be public, especially in the eyes of parents, teachers, bosses and VIPs. (Oops.) Be aware of this in case you have to do any damage control. (With four planets in your sign now, you're feisty!)

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

Do something different to satisfy your urge for adventure. Take a different route to or from work. Go someplace different for lunch. Talk to people from other cultures and different backgrounds. Be a tourist in your own city. Shake it up a little and give yourself a thrill.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

Tie up loose details about shared property, insurance matters, taxes, debt and all that red-tape stuff we would rather ignore. (It ain't gonna go away.) The more control you have over your finances and wealth, the more freedom you will also have. Right?

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

You have to compromise when dealing with others today because the moon is directly opposite your sign. This happens every month, it's no biggie, but it's there. Show tolerance to others and be flexible and conciliatory. Life will be easier for everyone.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

This is a good day to deal with hygiene factors, getting better organized and making a To Do list about how to make things run more smoothly in your life. Although this is a poor day to buy items to do the job, you can make plans for what you need and how you want to go ahead with your ideas.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

This can be a wonderfully creative day! Enjoy playful outings, flirtations, little vacations, sports events and fun times with children. Basically, you want to just goof off. If you can, do so. Take a long lunch and leave work early (if possible). Tap into your creative vibes.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

You'll love to cocoon at home today if possible. Discussions with a parent or a female relative could be significant. Do something to make yourself feel emotionally secure and happy in your private life. Maybe have a luxurious soak in the tub? You want a warm feeling in your tummy.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

This is a busy day full of minor distractions. Short trips, errands and discussions with siblings and neighbours are likely. Don't volunteer for anything and don't shop for anything other than food. Shortages and minor delays are likely. Nevertheless, your mind is pumped with ideas.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Be careful with financial matters because this is a poor day for important decisions. It's certainly a poor day to make major expenditures, professionally or personally. However, trust your intuition about money-making ideas. Write down your thoughts.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

The moon is in your sign, which makes you more emotional than usual. However, it can make you a little luckier than usual as well. Just go with the flow and enjoy the company of others. Things will tend to go your way. Ask the universe for a favour.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Because this is such a busy time for you, between short trips, errands and talking to everyone, you need a breather and this is the ideal day for it. Hide anywhere if you can to catch your breath and contemplate your navel.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

Conversation with a female acquaintance could be meaningful or entertaining. (Hopefully, both.) Einstein said, "Have the courage to take your own thoughts seriously, for they will shape you." (Something to think about if you're trying to get in shape.)

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY

Actor Alec Baldwin (1958) shares your birthday. You're playful and fun-loving and despite extroverted moments, you're surprisingly unassuming at times. You need to run your world, which is why you order your environment to fit your needs. You're highly independent and you value your privacy; yet you don't like to be ignored. In the year ahead, you will learn or study something that will be valuable to you.
