MOON ALERT We have the all clear today to do business and make important decisions. The moon is in Sagittarius.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

You might develop a crush on someone from another culture today. You're intrigued by new philosophies and ideas. However, if someone tries to coerce you to agree with them, you won't buy it! You want the freedom of choice.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

You feel generous to others, especially when discussing shared property and inheritances. Nevertheless, don't give away the farm! Fortunately, if people press you to give them something, you will resist. You're no fool.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

This is a friendly, charming day to enjoy the company of others. You're in strong schmooze mode and you enjoy chatting to everyone, even members of the general public. If someone asks you a little question, you'll give them a long answer.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

Good feelings about co-workers make it easy to co-operate with others today. In fact, you are rather eager to help. (But you don't want to be pushed!) Work-related travel is likely for many. Warm feelings of camaraderie abound.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

Enjoy flirtations, parties, long lunches, movies, sports, casual conversations and good times with others because it's that kinda day. You want to relax and enjoy the good life but you don't want anyone telling you what to do, that's for sure. Playful escapes with children will also delight.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

This is a great day to entertain at home. Invite the gang over for good food and drink. Family gatherings or get-togethers of clubs and organizations where you live will be upbeat and convivial. People are in a good mood and they feel co-operative.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Don't make promises that you can't keep today because this is exactly what you might be tempted to do. You want to offer good terms to someone because you feel warm and friendly, and you want to keep the atmosphere feeling cozy. Plus you believe you can make your promises stick. (Don't be overconfident.)

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

You might easily be tempted to blow too much money on something wonderfully luxurious. Of course, if you have the coin, it's your call. But do be warned that your judgment is fuzzy today. What seems to be a good idea now might not look so great in 48 hours. Forewarned is forearmed.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

You have a strong drive for personal freedom today. You want to be free to do your own thing and be unencumbered in any way. You're upbeat, generous and easy-going, unless someone tries to make you do something. Then you'll change your tune!

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

This is a pleasant day to run off somewhere and enjoy a little solitude. Even if you can only grab 15 minutes to read or do a crossword or watch the world go by, you'll feel pleasantly refreshed. You might even conjure up some profound thoughts. Who knows?

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

If you are in a group, class or meeting today, be careful about what you volunteer for or agree to. At first sight, things look very appealing and very doable. But today is the day to remember the value of having that proverbial sober second thought. Tell others you will sleep on it.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

Be careful about agreeing to anything if you are asked to accept increased responsibilities by someone in a position of authority. It will probably seem to be a great idea, which is why you are ready to commit. Don't do it! Wait until Friday. See how things look then.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY

Actor Bill Nighy (1949) shares your birthday today. Outwardly, you appear easy going and casual. Your style is very physical. In fact, you're often very lithe and flexible. You use your body to suggest a low-key demeanour or you can be dramatically entertaining. Whatever the case, your physical presence is highly suggestive. In the year ahead, an important decision will rise. Choose wisely because it will affect your future.
