Winnipeg Free Press - PRINT EDITION
May 24 Horoscope
MOON ALERT We have the all clear today to shop (whether you spend $10 or $10 million) and make important decisions. The moon is in Cancer.
ARIES (March 21-April 19)
Yesterday was confusing. Tomorrow is confusing. So what's today? It's the recess between the confusion. Consider this your chance to catch your breath and figure things out. It's also a good day to hang out at home and putter around the place.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20)
This is a busy, chatty day full of errands, short trips and discussions with others, especially relatives and siblings. It's your chance to recover from any financial confusion that might have occurred yesterday. It's a breather.
GEMINI (May 21-June 20)
Today is a good day to clean up loose details about cash flow, bills, earnings and putting out invoices. Yesterday was definitely fuzzy, and tomorrow will have its fuzzy elements as well. Get as much done today as you can.
CANCER (June 21-July 22)
Today the moon is in your sign, which makes you a bit more emotional than usual. However, this can also attract good fortune to you (mildly so, but hey, anything is better than nothing.) Ask for what you want. Who knows? You might get it.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)
This has been a social time for you (and will continue to be so) so you are advised to take today off if you can. Hide anywhere. Pull the shutters closed and do whatever you can to catch up on work or rejuvenate yourself in some way. You need this.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Discussions with a female could be significant today. This talk could help you better formulate your goals for the future. Because you're very much in the limelight now, and others appear to expect something of you, it's good to have someone who can give you some straight feedback.
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Be aware that at some point briefly today, you'll be rather high viz in the eyes of authority figures. For some reason, people will be more aware of your personal or private life. (If you have something to hide, you might want to keep this in mind.)
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Try to do something different today because you feel intellectually and emotionally restless. You need a change of scenery. If you can travel, by all means do so. At least, perhaps you can be a tourist in your own city? Go someplace you've never been before.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
It behooves you to make friends with your bank account and check out what's going on with debt, taxes and shared property. Clean up a few loose details here if you can. Partners and close friends have expectations of you right now, of which you are well aware. (I hope.)
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
You will have to go more than halfway when dealing with others today because the moon today is opposite your sign. It's no biggie. In two weeks, when the moon is in your sign, others will have to go more than halfway dealing with you! (That's how it works.)
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
This can be a productive day for you, especially in terms of getting organized and putting things where they belong. You have a strong impulse to be efficient, effective and productive in everything you do. Whatever effort you make today will help to streamline activities later.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)
A pleasant day to relax, socialize and flirt a little. Enjoy sports, vacations and fun social situations. Accept all invitations. Alternatively, you might entertain at home today or this evening. It's a relaxing lull between two relatively confusing days.
TODAY'S BIRTHDAY
Actor John C. Reilly (1965) shares your birthday today. You have strong opinions and many interests. (Most of which are constantly changing.) You are concerned about what's going on in society, which is why you stay in touch with current events. You are articulate and express yourself well and are not afraid to voice your opinions. In the year ahead, you will learn something fascinating that will be valuable to you. (Interesting.)
