Today's Horoscope
MOON ALERT We have the all clear today to shop and make important decisions. The full moon peaks in Aquarius at 10:27 p.m.
ARIES (March 21-April 19)
The tension of the full moon today will affect your relationships to children, sports colleagues, lovers and romantic liaisons. You might find it difficult to make plans for social gatherings or sports events because you feel pulled in two directions trying to please too many people.
TAURUS (April 20-May 20)
Some full moons are easier than others but this isn't one of them. Therefore, you will have to demonstrate grace under pressure when dealing with family issues, parents and relatives. Actually, bosses might be a handful as well. Easy does it.
GEMINI (May 21-June 20)
The full moon today might create an accident-prone situation for you because you're distracted, emotionally distraught, angry or just absent-minded. Be aware of this. Slow down and be mindful of everything you say and do. (Chew your food 36 times.)
CANCER (June 21-July 22)
Because the moon is your ruler, you will feel the intense energy of today's full moon. Specifically, you might have angst about money issues, cash flow, earnings or purchases. Even issues about shared property could be troublesome. (Be cool.)
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)
Today the only full moon opposite your sign all year is taking place. (You can run but you can't hide.) This will exacerbate difficulties with partners and close friends. But really, what every full moon does is heighten your emotional response to things. Stay frosty.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
There's no question the full moon creates heightened responses in everyone because they feel more emotional about everything. You might overreact with anything to do with health issues or anything to do with your job. Just be aware of this so you don't end up with egg on your face. (Ketchup helps.)
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Your relationship to others, especially in group situations, whether they're small get-togethers or large meetings, will be tested today because of the full moon. Therefore, if you find yourself wanting to throttle someone, hold yourself in check because these feelings will be gone in 48 hours.
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
This is a challenging full moon! (It's hard for Taurus, Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius.) In your case, you might find it tough to deal with authority figures (parents, bosses and the police). Relationships with female family members might also be challenging. (Challenging is a euphemism for "in the toilet.")
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
This is a mildly accident-prone day for your sign because of the energy of the full moon. Frustrations and delays are highly likely. Therefore, allow extra time for everything. Do yourself a favour and give yourself some wiggle room as a margin for error.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Disputes about shared property, inheritances, and anything you own jointly with others might come to a head today because of the full moon energy. Actually, this is a poor day to settle matters. (People are too emotional.) In 48 hours, things will calm down. Definitely.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
The only full moon in your sign all year is taking place today. That's why you might overreact to practically anything. Relations with partners and close friends will be testy but they don't have to be. Be gentle with yourself and others.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)
Something at work might be very frustrating today because of the full moon plus Mercury retrograde -- a double whammy. Just try to get by with the minimum. This is not the day to make a big splash with others.
TODAY'S BIRTHDAY
Actor Giancarlo Giannini (1942) shares your birthday today. You can be a crusader who is determined to convince others to see your point of view. You are highly independent and forceful in your communications. You never let obstacles set you back. (Because of your strong opinions, you are sometimes in the midst of controversy.) Good news: Your year ahead might be one of the most powerful years of your life!
