Today's Horoscope

MOON ALERT Avoid shopping or making important decisions until 1:20 p.m. After that the moon moves from Cancer into Leo.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

This is a challenging day dealing with family members, partners and close friends. Factoid. Just accept this and duck your head so you can keep out of trouble. Do not challenge others. Don't go looking for a fight. Today is about surviving with grace.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

This is an accident-prone day for you. Naturally, you don't have to have an accident. It just means that if you are distracted, angry or off-centre in some way, you could have an accident because all the latent conditions are present.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

Disputes about finances, bills, taxes, shared property or perhaps something you own might arise today. Your efforts to spend on social situations, vacations or the arts might be blocked by someone older or in authority. Keep an eye on your money because sudden loss (or windfall) is possible.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

Disputes with family members, partners and friends are likely today. You might be upset about a situation at home that frustrates you. You feel your hands are tied or someone in a position of authority is blocking you. This is not a good day to fight others.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

Don't be aggressive about introducing improvements or suggestions at work. You might be entirely right, yet others will not hear what you mean today. In fact, they will oppose you. So what's the point? Better to postpone your suggestions for another time.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Financial disputes are likely today, possibly about romance or matters related to children. You feel very strongly about something related to your own earnings, cash flow or something you own. Nevertheless, this is a poor day for arguments. Everyone is at odds with each other. Wait a little.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Difficulties with bosses and parents are highly likely today. No matter how much you want to correct something or solve a situation, your efforts will be blocked. Naturally, you'll feel frustrated. Knowing this ahead of time, why even try? Play it low-key.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Be careful you don't break something today or incur an accident simply because you feel highly emotional or heated up about something. This is a very passionate, intense day for many people, which is why arguments will easily occur. Chill out.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

You might easily encounter difficulty with others, especially in group situations, because they refuse to co-operate, which in turn boomerangs into conflicts about money, debt, shared property or possessions. Obviously, this is a crazy day to discuss these things. Postpone these matters.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

This is a poor day to ask anyone in authority for approval or permission. Meanwhile, relations with partners and close friends could be madly sexy and passionate or explosive in anger. The bottom line is this is a pretty unstable day, so walk carefully.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Avoid controversial subjects like politics, religion and racial issues. Similarly, be calm about travel plans because something or someone will delay or oppose you. Just accept that things are a bit crunchy today.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

Be extra patient dealing with children today. You might be distracted because issues with shared property, taxes, debt or inheritances are difficult right now. Romantic partners might also be at odds with each other. It's a challenging day! But you can still slide by unscathed if you are patient and charming.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY

Jazz pianist Oscar Peterson (1925-2007) shares your birthday. You are decisive and have a take-charge quality, which will generally put you in a position of leadership. In addition, you have a kind of nobility that lends authority to whatever you say. However, because you are enormously likable, no one minds when you take the helm. This year you are about to begin an exciting new cycle. Open any door!
