Today's Horoscope

MOON ALERT Avoid shopping or making important decisions from 4:45 p.m. until 10 p.m. After that the moon moves from Cancer into Leo.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

Continue to work at getting better organized at home and in your job.Relationships with authority figures might bum you out in the late afternoon. Just expect this and move on. (No biggie.)

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

You want to have fun, you want to flirt, and you want to enjoy the good life. And you can definitely do so, especially if you guard against negative thinking and criticisms in the late afternoon because they will arise. (Don't indulge in them.)

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

Your focus on home, family and domestic activities continues, perhaps because you're involved in home repairs and family discussions. Late this afternoon, issues about money, earnings and finances could be briefly discouraging.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

You need to keep your balance today, mentally speaking. However, this afternoon you could fall prey to self-doubt, second-guessing yourself and being bummed out talking to someone older or more experienced. Don't let this happen.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

This is good week for Leos to buy wardrobe items. A parent or someone older might rain on your parade today. Just walk on by. It's just a brief dark cloud on your horizon.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

You are empowered because both the sun and Mercury are in your sign, energizing you and making you verbally articulate. Don't let an older female, especially in a group situation, put you down.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Continue to work behind the scenes because you're very productive now. However, later this afternoon, an authority figure, especially a female might criticize you or try to block you in some way. Be cool.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

This afternoon you might be discouraged about travel plans or something related to higher education, publishing, the media, medicine and the law. This is just a speed bump. Relax.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Because you have such great lighting now don't be discouraged if someone (likely a female) is on your case about your responsibilities or paying bills or taking care of other people's possessions. It's small potatoes.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

With the moon directly opposite your sign, you have to go more than halfway when dealing with others today, which is not a big deal. But a friend or partner could try to block your plans later this afternoon. Just play dead; you don't have to roll over.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Continue to focus on cleaning up loose ends with shared property, debt, taxes, insurance matters and inheritances. Don't be influenced by criticisms from others later in the afternoon. Instead of listening to why things can't be done, focus on why they can be done!

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

Partners and close friends continue to be a strong focus right now. Don't get hung up on negative problems related to kids, sports or especially, romance. Just keep doing that voodoo that you do so well.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY

Actor Tyler Hoechlin (1987) shares your birthday. You live by your own rules. You're opinionated but you want to be free. You often make big decisions that change your life. You are fond of children because you are a nurturer. You can also be highly dramatic! In the year ahead, you will make a conscious choice to learn or study something important. (Your rewards will soon follow.)
