Today's Horoscope

MOON ALERT We have the all clear today to shop and make important decisions. The moon is in Scorpio.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

Make sure you know what you want, especially when dealing with shared property or shared responsibilities with children because today you could go off the rails regarding these areas. Emotional impulses might grab hold of you. (Like that never happens.)

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

Feelings of protection for your home or a family member could make you aggressive or emotionally reactive when dealing with partners and close friends. This could happen this afternoon. Just cool your jets because it's no biggie.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

Today you're trying to please others and get along with everyone. This is good. However, you have specific things you want to achieve at work, which means if you are frustrated by others, you'll become overly excited! This is not so good.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

It's a playful, flirtatious day and you're in a great mood! Count on having fun and enjoying the company of others as well as amusing activities. However, you can't expect others to fall in line with everything you want to do. Easy does it.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

You'll enjoy relating to others today because Venus in your sign makes you more diplomatic and charming than usual. (Hey, Leos are always diplomatic and charming. Well, certainly charming.) This afternoon, you'll be specific about what you want done at home (and everyone will know this).

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

On the whole, your dealings with others will be warm and friendly today. However, you do have an agenda and you do want to get certain things done. That's why you will speak up this afternoon to get what you want. (Oh yeah.)

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

This is a good day to relate to others in group situations. A casual acquaintance might turn into a friendship. However, when it comes to cash flow, spending or even earning your money, you have very definite ideas today!

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

You feel loyal or protective to someone who is older or in a position of authority today. Some of you might even develop a crush on a boss or someone richer or older. (Hmm, could this be a labour-saving device?) Guard against emotional outbursts this afternoon when you want your way. Be cool.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Travel for pleasure appeals today. This is also a good day to explore opportunities in publishing, higher education, medicine and the law. You have a private agenda you intend to pursue, which is fine. But don't become overbearing or try to coerce others to agree with you.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

This is a good day to discuss how to share or divide something, especially inheritances or jointly held property. Just don't blow your cool when you suddenly feel very emotional about something, especially when talking to someone in a group. You will only look immature and demanding. (Ouch.) Not cool!

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Relations with others are smooth and happy today, especially when talking to partners and close friends. However, relations with a parent, boss or an authority figure might become agitated because of your emotional reaction to something they say or do. If this happens (and it probably will) don't lose it.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

People are supportive at work today and vice versa. Everything is hunky-dory. However you might become overwrought about politics, religion or something to do with travel plans, higher education and publishing. Don't blow your cool. If you get carried away by your emotions, you lose what ground you gained.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY

Actor Kevin Zegers (1984) shares your birthday today. The appearance of things matters to you -- the appearance of your surroundings as well as your own personal appearance. You love elegance and simplicity and ideally, you like to be organized. You can be very dedicated about the working to improve yourself. Most of you have excellent taste. Your year ahead will be delightfully social and one that blesses all relationships.
