Today's Horoscope

MOON ALERT We have the all clear today to shop and make important decisions. The moon is in Taurus.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

Romantic relationships might be bitterly disappointing today. If this is the case, there's a strong chance your expectations were not realistic. Or maybe they were unexpressed? Unexpressed expectations almost always lead to disappointment. (Good mind readers are rare nowadays.)

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

Family discussions might be disappointing. Or worse, there could be an element of deception involved. If you think someone is not being truthful with you, this is probably the case. However, confusion could be the source of this disappointment as well. Be careful before you judge.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

Be extra clear in all your communications today because mistaken assumptions and confused discussions are rampant. For starters, some people are playing fast and loose with the truth. In addition to this, it's very easy to misinterpret what others say today. You have been warned.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

Be careful shopping today because you might kid yourself into spending way too much money on something luxurious and elegant. Or you might be deceived by someone. Count your change and keep track of your possessions. Know what's going on at all times.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

Relations with others are confusing today. You might feel you're making sacrifices for others and they have no appreciation for you. Admittedly, you might enjoy a beautiful romantic experience today. Could go either way. ("Can I trust you? For that matter, can I be trusted?")

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Something fishy might be going on behind the scenes today. You might not be able to put your finger on it but you sense that it's there. I always believe that if you suspect something fishy is going on, it is! Trust your gut instincts.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Be very careful in meetings, classes or large conferences today. You might get swept along enthusiastically with whatever is going on and find yourself volunteering for something that later makes you wince. (What was I thinking?")

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

This is the classic day to expect too much from bosses and authority figures, which in turn triggers disappointment in them. ("You let me down!" Boo-hoo.) Be clear about what you expect of others and what they intend to give. And be very clear about what they expect from you!

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Be careful today about falling for some cult figure or guru-like teacher that is inspirational. It doesn't mean that this person does not deserve your respect, but today is the classic day to kid yourself about others or to fall for a smooth line.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

This is a poor day to make important decisions about how to share or divide anything. Don't play the role of the martyr. Don't give away the farm. Don't expect others to this for you, either. Postpone these decisions for another day.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Your unrealistic expectations could lead to disappointment with others today. On the other hand (you have different rings) don't let anyone lay a guilt trip on you today about how much they're doing for you. People are easily deceiving and deceived today.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

If you feel uneasy about relations with co-workers and customers today, examine your own motives. You might be trying to kid others or, vice versa, someone might be trying to deceive you. Dismiss any illusions you have about how selfless you're being on behalf of others. Get a grip. (Something understated in genuine leather.)

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY

Actor Clive Owen (1964) shares your birthday. You're current about worldviews and society. You like to be up-to-date and you appreciate fashion and culture. (In fact, you might be a trendsetter or role model for others.) You have opinions and freely express them. However, you're somewhat of a private extrovert. In the year ahead, you will give up something you've been involved with for about nine years to make room for something new.
