Today's Horoscope

MOON ALERT After 5 a.m. we have the all clear to shop and make important decisions. The moon is in Sagittarius.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

You crave excitement today. You want something new and wonderful to drop in your lap. To satisfy this urge, do something different. Go someplace you've never been before. Talk to unusual people.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

Stay in touch with your bank account today. Hopefully, money, the resources of others, favours and goodies will unexpectedly come your way. But it could go the other direction, which is why you should see what's happening with your assets. Hmmm?

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

Friends and partners will likely surprise you today by doing or saying something you least expect. In turn, you might feel bored in an ongoing relationship. But hey, your need for stimulation is pretty high. Don't jeopardize something that is solid and steady for a mere bonbon. Be smart.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

The introduction of high-tech equipment or new improvements at work might be exciting or challenging. Computer crashes, cancelled meetings and staff shortages might occur.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

Unexpected flirtations will really sizzle your whiskers. (You flirtatious cat.) Surprise invitations and creative inspiration out of the blue might delight you. Surprises with sports and children are also likely. Leo parents should keep an eye on their kids today.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Unexpected company might be at your door today. (Is the posse after you?) Small appliances might break down or minor breakages could occur. (Hopefully not.) Some of you will buy new technology or fun gizmos for your home. It's an interesting day full of stimulating influences.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

You're full of bright, original ideas today. (This is why you must avoid bores because, believe me, they'll be insufferably painful.) Take a different route to work. Go someplace different for lunch. Meet new people. Visit unusual places. Shake it up a little!

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Be open to new ideas about how you might want to earn money. Similarly, be open to new ways of thinking about how you want to handle your money. Impulse buying is likely today. (Keep your receipts.)

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

You're up for adventure and you want to have fun. Be open to doing something different today. Go with the flow. Be spontaneous. Do something that is a departure from the routine of your daily life because, secretly, you crave emotional excitement!

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

This is a restless day because no matter what you do, you kind of feel you should be doing something else. Or perhaps it's that you would prefer to be doing something else. You have a sense of living the life half-lived, which sounds extreme but there is an element of this present. You want more than this!

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Friends, especially in group situations, might surprise you today. Alternatively, you might meet a real character or someone who is unusual or says bizarre things. This will be an interesting day.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

You might feel rebellious if your boss suggests something today. (That's because you're wearing your secret decoder ring and you want to call your own shots.) Don't quit your day job. Look for other ways to impress people with your originality. In fact, someone in authority might be amazed at your suggestions.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY

Supermodel Tyson Ballou (1976) shares your birthday. You're observant about everything around you. Because you are compassionate, you often choose to be a role model or a mentor for others. You also have an unusual quality of being able to see yourself quite objectively. In fact, you are quick to see if something can work. No doubt you will apply this ability in the coming year because partnerships will be your primary focus.
