Today's Horoscope

MOON ALERT Avoid shopping or making important decisions from 3:30 a.m. until 4:45 a.m. After that the moon moves from Sagittarius into Capricorn.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

Be careful talking to authority figures today because you could really blow it. You might want to tell someone off or do something rebellious and unacceptable. Perhaps a stupid boss will reject your long-range, practical suggestions? (Always a bummer.)

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

Travel plans might be delayed, interrupted or cancelled today. Ditto for anything with higher education. Publishing, the media, medicine and the law are also susceptible to delays and interruptions which, ironically, could provoke the creation of a long-range solution for the future.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

Do check your bank account today because something to do with shared property, taxes, debt, insurance matters and anything you own jointly with others is subject to some surprises. (Oh yes. Don't be caught with cookie crumbs on your whiskers.) However, a solution is available.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

Relations with others are impulsive, disruptive and problematic today. Someone might demand more freedom or act rebelliously. (Possibly, this someone is you.) Everything is extremely emotionally charged, which gives your actions a now-or-never/do-or-die feeling.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

Expect interruptions at work. Computer crashes, cancelled meetings, staff shortages, unexpected events or communication glitches might be tough to deal with today. Your impulse was to introduce reforms and make things better. But something has backfired!

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

This is a rocky day for romance. Parents must be extra-vigilant about children because this is an accident-prone day for kids. Accidents that are sports-related are also likely. Nevertheless, your creative energies are hot!

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Disruptions at home are par for the course today. Small appliances could break down, minor breakages could occur. Surprise company might appear at your door. And yes, domestic arguments are likely. However, all of this might solidify your earnings or repair something you own.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

This is a mildly accident-prone day for your sign, so slow down and take it easy. Pay attention to everything you say and do. Guard against knee-jerk reactions and flip responses to others. (You know who you are.) However, this is a good day to make long-range plans for the future.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Guard your money and possessions against loss or theft today. If shopping, keep your receipts and count your change. (If you're really shopping, count your receipts and keep your change.) You might see ways to save money or boost your earnings in the future.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

This is an unpredictable day, in part because you feel rebellious! Think before you act or speak. Who wants to end up with egg on their face? Not you! Do not assume you're right. Hear everyone's point of view. Someone, probably older, in a group situation has something to offer you.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

You might be surprised by something hidden or behind the scenes today. Yes, secrets might come out but be careful because they might be about you. (Oops.) No matter how steamed up you feel about something, count to three before you speak. If you act with discipline you will have no regrets. (Will you regret it if you do this? Will you regret it if you don't?)

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

Relations with others are alive, exciting and yet, at the same time, rocky and confrontational. Yes, they're all over the map. "My life is going random!" Regardless of what others do, you can still make solid plans related to publishing, the media, travel and higher education.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY

Actress/singer Brooke Elliott (1974) shares your birthday today. No matter how quiet or gentle you appear, you always have a dignified authority that others respect. Your command is rarely questioned! You're an individualist and you're also a nurturer. You always treat people well. Finding the right partner is important to you. Work hard to build or construct something in the coming year because your success will soon follow.
