MOON ALERT We have the all clear today to shop and make important decisions until 7:30 p.m. The moon is in Aries.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

Whoa Nelly! Be careful talking to authority figures today, including the police. A nasty confrontation could break out. Don't get your belly in a rash and quit your day job. Important decisions need some sober second thought. Tread carefully!

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

Travel plans and anything to do with higher education, publishing, the media, medicine and the law are all subject to major upsets and reversals today. Your schedule will be cancelled, delayed or changed. Factoid. Double-check all plans for meetings and appointments. Yikes!

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

Make friends with your bank account because cheques could be bouncing today. Something unexpected to do with inheritances, shared property, taxes, debt or anything you own jointly with others might blindside you. "Whaaat?" Sudden financial reversals are possible.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

Personality disputes with partners and close friends might occur today. They might be over nothing and suddenly... Bam! You're arguing! It's often silly little things that set people off, like when they burn your house down. (Keep things in perspective.)

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

Upsets at work or to your daily routine are likely today. Computer crashes, fire drills, power outages, staff shortages or unexpected things with others will cause delays or make you throw your hands up in exasperation. ("Stick a fork in me Lord, I'm done!")

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Parents should be vigilant because this is an accident-prone day for your kids. This is also a very rocky day for romance. Emotional spats can break out. Try not to be impulsive or say or do anything you will later regret. (Hard to follow but good advice.)

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Minor appliances might break down today or breakages at home might occur. Certainly domestic arguments are likely because people are on edge! Your home routine is probably interrupted because of renovations or visiting guests. Do whatever it takes to stay calm. (Dark chocolate? Havarti and Shiraz?)

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Slow down. Pay attention to everything you say and do because this is an accident-prone day for you. No question. Think before you speak because you might be so excited about something you just blurt it out. "Hey, you don't look so fat in those pants!"

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Something to do with your financial scene, earnings or possessions could go awry today. If shopping, keep your receipts and count your change. Check your bank balance. Guard your possessions against loss or theft. Better safe than sorry, right?

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

This is an accident-prone day both verbally and physically. However, it's also the kind of day where your own busy behaviour can get you in trouble. You feel like you're going off in different directions all at the same time. It's disconcerting! Slow down and catch your breath. In fact, count 11 breaths.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

You feel restless today. You have that feeling you're waiting for the other shoe to drop. And you know it will be the wrong size and it will be ugly and that's one of the reasons you're frustrated. Who would ever expect a Gucci loafer in their size to drop in their lap? Nobody. It is what it is.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

Difficulties with others, especially in groups, might occur today. You might feel offended or rebellious about what's going on. Perhaps you feel like you are the odd man out? (Either Gurdijieff or Ouspensky said, "When there are three people, one will always feel left out.")
