Today's Horoscope

MOON ALERT We have the all clear today to do business and make important decisions, but only until 4 p.m. The moon is in Leo.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

There's a flirtatious element to your day today. You feel playful and prankish and because of this you could be briefly at odds with someone about shared property or even something related to sex. (Sometimes it sends the wrong message if you laugh too much.)

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

Your focus is on home, family and your private life today. Ideally, you just want to relax and cocoon or take it easy. You don't want someone to be all over you like a bad rash, which could happen briefly. Be patient with partners and close friends.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

This is an ideal day for short trips and casual conversations with strangers because new ideas and new faces will intrigue you. Because you feel spontaneous about spending money and acting on new ideas, stay in touch with the Moon Alert above.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

Your focus is on money, cash flow, earnings and, possibly, purchases. When it comes to purchases or important financial decisions then do check with the Moon Alert above. Others might be critical about your financial ideas, but do they know what they're talking about?

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

Today the moon is still in your sign, which makes you emotional but fortunate. (Cute combo.) "Yippee! I'm so lucky!" Actually, when the moon is in your sign it's as if the universe owes you a favour. Therefore, ask for what you want -- you might get it.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

You feel more reclusive than usual. Home and family have been a strong priority for you lately, although you have enjoyed chatting to everyone. But today, especially, you'll enjoy solitude in beautiful surroundings or working alone or just being by yourself.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

For the most part, this is a pleasant, social day where you will enjoy shmoozing with others, especially female contact. Having said that (here comes the small print), you might have difficulty talking to someone about money or possessions.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

You continue to be high viz today; so be aware that others notice you more than usual, especially bosses and VIPs. If you have a disagreement with someone (which you might) keep it low-key. Who needs bad press? Not you.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Do whatever you can to satisfy your need for some adventure today. Go someplace different. By all means, travel somewhere if you can. You're hungry to learn something new so you don't feel bored. You want to fight that feeling that life is passing you by. "Hey! The bus is leaving!

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Just grin and bear it and address all those red-tape details concerning insurance matters, taxes, debt and shared property issues. You don't have to clear your slate. Just get rid of some of them. You'll love yourself for it later. (Promote your peace of mind.)

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Because the moon is opposite your sign, you have to compromise when dealing with others. This is no biggie because you are a networker extraordinaire. Be patient, be tolerant, be your Aquarian self. People like you make the world a better place.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

Go with your desire to get better organized today. You don't have to do lots of big things. You can just do a few small things like throw away five things from your medicine cabinet. Every little bit helps. Drip, drip, drip and eventually the bucket is full.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY

Actress Marisa Tomei (1964) shares your birthday. You have a gutsy energy that people like. You face obstacles with courage and style. Of course, you're driven to achieve your aims. You're smart, sassy and fast. You will sacrifice a lot for what you believe. You have great organizational skills and you're a good listener. Work hard to build or construct something in the next year because your rewards will soon follow.
