Today's Horoscope
MOON ALERT We have the all clear today to do business and make important decisions. The moon is in Virgo.
ARIES (March 21-April 19)
The next few weeks are perfect for travel because you have a strong need now to expand your horizons. After all, you are the pioneer of the zodiac. You love new faces, new places, new ideas and fresh adventure!
TAURUS (April 20-May 20)
You simply cannot avoid dealing with red-tape matters about insurance, shared property, taxes, debt and anything you own jointly with others. You can run but you can't hide. In the next week or so, get as much of this out of the way as you can.
GEMINI (May 21-June 20)
Do remember to get more sleep than usual because the sun is opposite your sign now, which means it is as far away from your sign as it gets all year, and the Sun is your source of energy. Respect your need for more rest. You're not being lazy.
CANCER (June 21-July 22)
You're gung-ho now to get better organized both at home and work. Since you have this urge, by all means capitalize on it! Get the right tools and materials to do a great job: cleaning supplies, paint, shelving, file folders, whatever.
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)
This is a strong time for you because the sun is in fiery Sagittarius, which is your fellow Fire sign. This is supportive! Enjoy social excursions, flirtations, sports events, fun times with others and opportunities to express your creative talents.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
Your focus is on home, family and domestic matters right now. Discussions with a parent might be more significant than usual. However, you will also want to cocoon at home if you get a chance. (Curled up in a fetal position with your electric blanky turned up to nine.)
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Just accept the fact that your pace is very busy right now. Your social calendar is jammed with short trips, errands, discussions with everyone plus increased reading and writing. This is not the time to sit at home getting dusty. Go, go, go!
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
You're giving thought to cash flow, earnings and what you own. But beneath all that, in a way, you're thinking about your value in general. But is your personal value or your personal worth equated to money and the stuff you own? I think not.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
You have to make the most of it while the sun is in your sign because this happens only once a year (for about four weeks). This means it's your turn to re-energize, replenish and restore yourself. It also means it's quite appropriate to put yourself first.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Your year is ending, is it not? Your birthday is just a month away. That means this is the perfect time to begin to think about what you want your new year to be all about.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
Enjoy this popular time when the sun urges you to shmooze with others and be extra active in groups, clubs and organizations. This is second nature to you. However, this is also the best time all year to reassess your short-term goals.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)
The sun is slowly crossing the top of your chart now acting like a spotlight on you. (Don't break the law.) But this sun is flattering! That's why people are asking you to take on increased responsibilities (you look that good to them).
TODAY'S BIRTHDAY
Lyricist Ira Gershwin, pictured, (1896-1983) shares your birthday. You are capable of great deeds because of your confidence and belief in yourself. You are lively, dynamic and brave. You have an energetic personality and always maintain the face of an optimist. You are generous and candid about sharing your world with others. In the year ahead, a major change could take place, perhaps as significant as something that occurred around 2004.
