MOON ALERT We have the all clear today to do business and make important decisions. The moon is in Scorpio.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

Start this week off by doing something different. At this time of year, you're horrified by boredom. You want to travel, discover adventure, learn something new, meet a hero from a movie or from history. You're looking for something to rev your engines, aren't you?

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

You're busy checking bank accounts and assets because you want to grasp your financial scene. You want a clear picture. You won't stick your head in the sand. You want the facts because you know that when it comes to money, knowledge is empowering.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

Remember to get more sleep this week. You tire far more easily now and you need to acknowledge this. Partnerships and close friendships will continue to be a strong focus for you. Actually, you can learn a lot about your style of relating to others.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

Because you have the impulse to get better organized, act on it! Since you are truly motivated to clean up your act both at home and at work, do whatever it takes and get the support materials to help you do a great job. You'll love yourself for it later.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

Make a firm decision to do something playful and fun this week. Book off for a day or half a day and play hooky. Plan to go to a movie, the theatre, the opera, a sports event or have a fun lunch or dinner with friends. It might be coffee with a neighbour or a weekend away at your favourite resort. Whatever.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Put energy into your home and family this week. Tackle repairs or have family discussions about what you want to get done or what everybody else wants to get done. It's totally appropriate for you to do this now. Conversations with a parent could be significant.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

The pace of your days is pretty fast now with short trips, errands, talking to everyone plus reading and writing more than usual. But you love it. (And you love the sound of those deadlines swooshing by.)

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Money, money, money! Focus on money this month because lots of extra expenses occur for many families, especially with kids. Fortunately, you're full of money-making ideas and good fortune favours you as well (through Jupiter and Venus). Never knock good fortune.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Make the most of this time while favourable situations and important people are attracted to you. Because you have a leg up on things, use it. Make your pitch. Rally your troops. Do whatever you need to do, especially where you need the help or endorsement of others. You rock!

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Remember to do a little recap of this last year and think about how you want your next year to be different. Since your year is coming to an end, it makes sense to do a little future planning, don't you think?

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Your popularity continues, keeping you busy with invitations, appointments and fun times with friends. Clubs, groups and organizations all want to see your face. This is a particularly good time to tweak your future goals. Discuss them with others.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

With the sun at the top of your chart now, you are noticed and this lighting is flattering, which is why others are asking you to take on responsibilities. Say yes. The light will continue to flatter and you won't have to do anything special to wow everyone.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY

Actress Emmanuelle Chriqui (1977) shares your birthday today. You are a gentle soul who finds gratifying rewards in serving others. You are poetic, sensitive and spiritual. Your beliefs matter to you. You don't easily march to the drumbeat of society. You are a sympathetic, understanding leader who was always appreciative. Your year ahead is the beginning of a fresh, exciting new cycle. Open any door!
