Today's Horoscope
MOON ALERT We have the all clear today to do business and make important decisions. The moon is in Taurus.
ARIES (March 21-April 19)
You might feel more emotionally attached to what you own today. This will definitely make you reluctant to lend your things to anyone. It's not a big deal but it might explain how you feel. ("Hands off my stuff.")
TAURUS (April 20-May 20)
The moon is in your sign today, which makes you very subjective about things. It will comfort you to feel that you belong to others -- family or friends. You have a strong desire to "fit in." This is also why you are secretly hoping for more nurturing and support from others.
GEMINI (May 21-June 20)
It's totally fine if you want to withdraw from others today because it's just what's happening. This doesn't mean you're being secretive. It just means you don't feel that much like socializing. You might find you're more interested in mystical, spiritual things as well.
CANCER (June 21-July 22)
You feel quite social today, particularly with female friends. In fact, you might feel rather protective of an unusually supportive girlfriend. You might even feel jealous if this friend pays more attention to someone other than you. (Especially after all you've done for her.)
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)
If you're involved with groups today, you'll be surprised at how sensitive you are to the tenor of things. It's as if you have your finger on the pulse of the general mood. In addition, certain details about your private world might be rather public. Be aware of this.
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
You definitely have an urge to get away from all this. Travel anywhere if you can. If you can't, then be a tourist in your own city. Take a course, learn something new, talk to people from other cultures and different countries. In other words, broaden your horizons!
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
It's curious, but whatever happens today seems to be more intense than usual. Or perhaps it's just your reaction? Either way, they're your feelings and you do feel intensely about something. Partly this could be because you feel your values and the values of others don't jibe.
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Mild conflicts with others might arise today because the moon is directly opposite your sign and this sometimes triggers emotional, knee-jerk reactions. Frankly, you will have to compromise. Just accept this.
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Guard against being hypercritical of others today. It's just the placement of the moon. Instead, take care of lots of little housekeeping duties regarding buying personal hygiene items, getting better organized, or at least making neat little piles of your junk. (Whoops, did I say that?) Of course, that's not junk!
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Today you want the freedom to do your own thing and be who you are. You will probably enjoy being with female friends. Romantic relationships will feel very involved. But you might be a bit too possessive. Sports and activities with children will appeal. If you have children, you might be more protective about them than usual.
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
You might enjoy just cocooning at home today. Have a second cup of coffee and read the newspaper. This is a perfect day to relax with family or just do your own thing. You want to feel safe in your own little refuge, away from the maddening crowd.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)
In discussions with others, you want to get to the nitty-gritty of things. You want to tell it like it is, and hopefully others will respond in kind. Superficial, polite conversation won't interest you at all. Short trips will be interesting, especially with female friends.
TODAY'S BIRTHDAY
Speedskater Catriona Le May-Doan (1970) shares your birthday. You're an explorer. You get excited about the possibility of introducing new ideas, concepts and approaches to life to others. You think things through carefully and plan ahead. You are down-to-earth, candid and very firm about your beliefs. You like to improve the lives of others. In the year ahead, a major change might occur, perhaps as significant as something that took place around 2004.
