MOON ALERT We have the all clear today to do business and make important decisions. The moon is in Gemini.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

This is a pleasant, upbeat day. Nevertheless, later in the day, you might have trouble with parents or authority figures because you feel defiant, rebellious or you just can't put up with them anymore. Don't say anything you'll regret later.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

Travel plans might be interrupted late in the day. Fortunately, most of today flows quite smoothly in a joyous, upbeat way. Hey nonny nonny and all that. You feel richer or well gifted. However, avoid controversial subjects like politics, religion and racial issues.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

This is a fun-loving day. The moon is in your sign lined up with lucky Jupiter. Joy to the world! However, something will go awry with other people's possessions or your responsibilities for what others own -- possibly a quarrel about shared possessions or debt? Stay mellow.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

This is a feel-good day. Your focus will be on partnerships and close friendships. Those of you who are working will enjoy warm relations with co-workers. However, later in the day, disputes with others (including authority figures) could arise. Be patient.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

This is a friendly, social day with good feelings all around. Relations with children and romantic partners are positive. Nevertheless, something related to your health or your job will interrupt your routine late in the day. Don't push anything.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

You are high-viz today! You're in good spirits and ready to have fun. Family relations are warm and this is a good day to entertain at home. However, later in the day, this is an accident-prone day for your kids, so be extra vigilant. Protect children from hazardous situations.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

You're restless for adventure today. You'll be delighted to talk to people from different backgrounds or other cultures. Something different! Later in the day, small appliances might break down, minor breakages could occur or domestic arguments could break out. (Quelle surprise.)

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Others will be generous to you today and this will warm your heart. (And, perhaps, your pockets.) Don't we all love money burning a hole in our jeans? Take note; late in the day, verbal or physical accidents could take place. Pay attention to what you say and do.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

You look charming today. Both Mercury and Venus in your sign make you diplomatic, attractive and desirable. (Oh my.) However, late in the day, something upsetting regarding your cash flow or something you own might occur. Guard against breakages, theft or loss.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

An interesting day indeed! You're full of helpful energy and keen to be of service to others. Some will enjoy a secret flirtation behind the scenes. However, do be careful because late in the day something will disrupt you, perhaps an accident or an argument. Stay calm.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

This is a friendly, chatty day. You'll enjoy the company of others, especially creative people and younger people. You're in a party frame of mind and ready for fun! However, something late in the day is disconcerting for you. You might not say anything but you feel mildly concerned or disturbed about something.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

You're in great form today! This is a wonderful day to entertain at home because all gatherings will be joyful. Relations with authority figures are smooth. However, later in the day, a quarrel with a friend or a member of a group or surprising news is likely.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY

Singer/songwriter Jimmy Buffett (1946) shares your birthday. You're adventurous! You often push the boundaries around you to seek thrills or attain accomplishments that are beyond what others expect. You go for the gold! Naturally, you're a risk taker. People notice these qualities through your work or your hobbies or your lifestyle. In the next year, you will discover or learn something valuable that will matter to you. Be open to this.
