Today's Horoscope

MOON ALERT Caution: Avoid shopping or making important decisions after 5:30 a.m. The moon is in Scorpio.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

It's tough dealing with others today, especially groups. Your suggestions seem to be blocked by others, especially authority figures or someone older or more experienced. How frustrating! Just let this go because tomorrow is a much easier day.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

This is not the day to make your pitch to your boss or any authority figure. Don't ask for permission; don't ask for forgiveness. Don't ask. The reply will be, "Talk to the hand." In fact, criticisms from others will be unnerving. Therefore, wait until tomorrow.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

Travel plans or matters related to higher education, philosophy, politics, religion as well as publishing and the media are stuck in the mud today. Those of you involved in legal or medical matters will feel this as well. You can't push the river. Wait until tomorrow.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

The resources or support from others you were hoping for might be withheld today or, at least, disappoint. Bummer. Don't react. This is not a reflection on you at all. It's just what is and, fortunately, by tomorrow the picture will be much rosier.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

This is a difficult day with others. Frankly, you're annoyed. And even if you hide your annoyance, they sense that you're seething inside. Try to be busy with other things. Don't express your anger because tomorrow most of this will be forgotten.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

It's hard to get going at work today. No matter what, you feel others are blocking you. What gives? Just chalk it up to the spores in the air. Don't second-guess yourself. You know what you're doing. And because you know what you're doing, you will sense that if you wait 24 hours, co-operation will be there for you.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Children seem to be an increased responsibility today. Tension with romantic partners is also likely. Don't make a big deal about any of this. Demonstrate grace under pressure. By tomorrow, these frustrations will be hugely reduced if not completely gone.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Be patient with family members today, especially parents. It's too easy to be ticked off with others. It's important to know that the conditions tomorrow are quite different. Therefore, why get egg on your face today when tomorrow things will go your way? Patience.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

This is an argumentative day for you. Factoid. Don't get sucked in to this energy because it will only make you and others miserable. Yes, you feel frustrated. Two steps forward, one step backward. But hey, tomorrow is a completely different -- and better -- day! Just hang in there.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

There's no point in getting pushy about financial matters because you won't get your way today. (As you, no doubt, already suspect.) Just tread water and maintain. Tomorrow you can perhaps accomplish what you had hoped to do today. No biggie.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

You might be second-guessing yourself today. Others might criticize you and their words are actually your secret, greatest fears about yourself. (I hate it when that happens.) It's just a crisis of confidence. Tomorrow you'll feel completely different.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

It's hard to feel confident about what you're doing today because part of you is filled with self-doubt. You're questioning your abilities. You wonder how you can perform for others when you're not even sure you can tie your own shoelaces. We all feel like this from time to time. Cool it. You feel better by tomorrow. (Wear loafers.)

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY

Actor Nicolas Cage (1964) shares your birthday. You're attracted to mystery and unusual places and things. You love ancient traditions, Gothic design and imaginative surroundings because you are intrigued by the unusual. You pick up on the energy of others very quickly and are always sensitive to your environment. A major change will take place in the coming year, perhaps something as significant as what occurred around 2004.
