Today's Horoscope

MOON ALERT Caution: After 3:30 a.m. avoid shopping or making important decisions for the rest of the day. The moon is in Aquarius.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

This is a great day to enjoy the company of others. Shmooze with groups and have fun with female friends. However, avoid important decisions and spending money, especially big purchases, because although today is fun-loving, it's flaky.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

Details of your private life will be a bit public, especially with VIPs, bosses, parents and perhaps even the police. Just be aware of this. This is not a good day to make important decisions about your life direction in general. Instead just relax with friends.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

Adventure beckons! You will particularly enjoy the company of female friends, possibly in foreign lands and unusual places. You want to do something different that is stimulating and exciting. Tuck away your cash and just spend money on food. Easy does it.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

Although you might be concerned with inheritances, insurance matters and something related to jointly held property, postpone important decisions regarding these matters. This is a poor day for big decisions or big expenditures, but it's a great day to goof around!

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

You'll enjoy shmoozing with members of the general public today. But do be prepared to go more than halfway when dealing with others because this is a day where you have to compromise. No biggie. Be patient because it's easy to be annoyed with partners and friends.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Although you're ambitious to work and get a lot done at this time, today is not the day to push things. Kick back and relax a little. You might want to do something to pamper yourself or boost your health. This is a great day for a massage or a relaxing bath.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

This is a playful, flirtatious day! Enjoy good times with friends because you're in the mood to party. Sports events, fun times with kids, and theatrical adventures will delight. Watch a matinee or meet friends for some laughs. A very social day!

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

You might enjoy cocooning at home today because you want a chance to relax and rest. You've got a lot to think about, in part because childhood memories are occurring to you now. Relations with a female relative, especially your mother, could be significant.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Short trips and adventure still appeal because you're going places! Be open to meeting new people and seeing new places today. However, don't spend money. Furthermore, don't make promises to anyone or agree to anything important because it will all have to be changed.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Your mind is on your cash flow, no question. Nevertheless, this is a poor day to make important financial decisions. Definitely do not buy anything other than food or inexpensive items because whatever you initiate today will tend not to fulfil its purpose.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

The moon is in your sign, which makes you a bit more emotional than usual. However, it's sort of swinging "loose," which is why you feel a bit at loose ends. Nevertheless, it's a great day to shmooze with others and enjoy the company of characters and unusual people.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

You need to hide a bit just to catch your breath today. Take it easy and do whatever you can to feel pampered and comfortable. You prefer to be alone or work behind the scenes to get your act ready so that you can take it on the road. Relax.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY

Actress Julia Louis-Dreyfus (1961) shares your birthday. Security matters to you, which is why prestige and status matter. (One assures the other.) You constantly strive to improve your situation in life or to better yourself. You have a regal pride that can be attractive. Socially, you are often the life the party -- you're certainly entertaining. In the year ahead, partnerships and close friendships will be your primary focus.
