Today's Horoscope

MOON ALERT We have the all clear today to do business and make important decisions. The moon is in Taurus.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

For the second day in a row, you are determined, forceful and productive. There is nothing you cannot accomplish today because you are so purposeful and also, at the same time, so very careful in whatever you do. (But whatever you do might be a secret.)

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

You continue to be extremely successful working with others, especially in group situations. Because you are so hardworking and persevering, others will readily join forces with you. Nothing will daunt you today because you intend to achieve your goals.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

You can really impress bosses, parents, teachers, VIPs and even the police today. Your ambition is quite obvious along with your single-minded focus on what you intend to achieve. Others admire you because of your unwavering dedication. (Impressive.)

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

You have fantastic energy to apply to publishing, the media, or anything related to higher education. You can write that paper, study hard or give a presentation. You will also be tireless in making the right travel plans or focusing on legal matters.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

If you have to dispute inheritances, shared property or issues related to taxes, debt and insurance matters, you will be a force to contend with. You know what you want and you are immovable. You're not making a big fuss about things. Au contraire, you're being modest, yet purposeful.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

If a partner or close friend opposes you, this will be a serious obstacle. Others are entrenched in their point of view and so are you. People aren't waving their hands about things because their hands are in their pockets and their heels are dug in. But if you work with someone, then the sky is the limit.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

You can get a tremendous amount done at work or with any task that you set for yourself. Whatever you do will be careful, logical and linear in your approach. And you will leave no stone unturned because you have excellent concentration and endurance.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Those of you involved in sports will be unstoppable because you have energy, determination and focus. This same energy will apply to those of you in the entertainment world, the hospitality industry or working in the arts. Yay!

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

You're still revved up about making improvements at home or stating your case with family members. Today however, you're going about things more carefully and quietly; nevertheless, all your energy is focused with a "Steady-Eddie" drive. (This is really quite admirable.)

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Use today's energy to write, talk, debate, argue, sell, market or study. You have mental clarity and determination plus your concentration is excellent, particularly about minute details. You won't overlook anything and you won't rush things, either.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

You're willing to work very hard to earn money. You're not going to be flash and dazzle; instead, this is a nose-to-the-grindstone day for you. But think of all you will accomplish! Make hay while the sun shines. Not only will you be hardworking, you will achieve practical results.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

You are surprisingly patient and willing today, no matter how difficult the task is that you face. Your steady, controlled energy will keep you working at a regular pace. You'll do such careful work you won't have to go back to redo anything. Not today. (But you'll want to make sure your efforts count for something.)

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY

Writer Iain Banks (1954) shares your birthday. You are spirited, spontaneous and passionate about whatever you do. You like to be on the winning side of things, which you generally are because you display and embrace a lot of positive thinking. Others admire your straightforward honesty and ability to go with the flow. A lovely social year awaits you. In addition, relationships will be successful and rewarding.
