MOON ALERT Avoid shopping or making important decisions from 2:30 until 4 p.m. After that the moon moves from Taurus into Gemini.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

Hopefully, you accomplished as much as possible in the last two days because that wonderful energetic focus seems to be slipping out of the picture. Don't be hard on yourself. It's just what it is. In fact, you might feel tired, listless and vaguely confused. No biggie. Get some rest.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

After successfully steering the efforts of others (in the last two days) to hopefully coincide with your own, you have to let go. Be careful about money matters because things are not completely clear. Check with the Moon Alert above. Be careful and cautious.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

Today the moon eventually moves into your sign but even then, clarity seems to elude you. Don't worry because many feel this way today. Keep a watchful eye on your money and your possessions and don't fall for anything that looks too good to be true. Be circumspect.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

You might feel vaguely restless and uncertain. Or you might find yourself second-guessing yourself. This is all minor stuff, really. (And by the way, a lot of others feel this way as well.) Just accept whatever help is offered to you, which is quite likely.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

Relations with others, especially females, might be confusing today. Make no assumptions. Spell everything out clearly so that you know what is expected of you and vice versa. You might go so far as to repeat back to others what they have said to you just to be sure.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Go gently today because misunderstandings with others, especially female authority figures, are very likely. Furthermore, whatever you do seems to be high viz, so these misunderstandings could be public. Go carefully; go slowly.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

This is not an ideal day to make travel plans because you are indecisive. First one thing appeals, then another. Or perhaps you set off in one direction and find you cannot continue. This same wishy-washy approach could apply to studying something.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Be careful if you are discussing inheritances, shared property and such because it's easy to be confused. Furthermore, it's easy to be reluctant to stand up for yourself or defend your own best interests. Try to avoid important decisions.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Although you're eager to get things done and are still going at a busy pace, confusion with partners and close friends is likely today. This will only create havoc; therefore, you must slow down and try extra hard to be clear. (For your own sake as well as others.)

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Your focus on money, cash flow and possessions continues. However, today, whether at work or in any task you attempt, something is confusing. This confusion could even extend to your health. Fortunately, these are minor matters. Just let things be.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Romantic confusion is par for the course, which is why romantic partners might be at odds with each other or feeling misunderstood. Parents should be extra patient with children as well. It's a mildly confusing, goofy day. Things can look rosier than they actually are.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

Relations with family members are a tad challenging today primarily because people can easily make wrong assumptions. Don't second-guess others. Ask what they want and expect of you. In turn, tell others what you expect and want from them. (Unexpressed expectations almost always lead to disappointment.)

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY

Basketball player Michael Jordan (1963) shares your birthday. You are resilient and strong, yet this is often a mask for a very sensitive interior. You often feel you need to have your defences up against the world. You are affectionate and ready to defend not only yourself, but also family members and loved ones. You embrace your beliefs fervently. Grab every opportunity to learn something in the year ahead because it will help you in 2014.
