Today's Horoscope
MOON ALERT We have the all clear to do business and make important decisions. The moon is in Taurus.
ARIES (March 21-April 19)
Earlier in the day, you might experience mild tension talking to older people or bosses or anyone in authority, especially about money, shared possessions and debt. Fortunately, later in the day, this tension disappears and you see new uses for something you own. "Voila!"
TAURUS (April 20-May 20)
This is a strong day except earlier in the day, difficulties with partners, especially older partners or people with more experience, might discourage you. Perhaps they are critical of your efforts. Later in the day, this feeling disappears. (Thank goodness.)
GEMINI (May 21-June 20)
When working behind the scenes or alone, you will accomplish a lot. However, don't be discouraged earlier in the day if someone is critical of your efforts. What do they know? Don't let others get you down. Just keep plugging away for your own benefit.
CANCER (June 21-July 22)
In group situations, you might feel you have to kowtow to someone who is older or more experienced. A boss or VIP might be critical of you. (Don'tcha love it?) Let it pass for the moment because by the afternoon you don't care. You're making plans to escape!
LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)
This morning is a poor time to ask for permission or approval from parents, bosses, teachers or anyone in a position of authority. The answer will likely be, "Talk to the hand." Fortunately, later in the day, this negative influence lifts. (But it's still in the shadows.)
VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)
You might encounter obstacles in matters related to publishing, travel, higher education, medicine and the law early today. By afternoon, this lessens considerably. In fact, you might be able to see a way around things. (Of course, never put off what you can avoid altogether.)
LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)
Financial matters might be discouraging, especially if you feel you're not getting your fair share of something. Or perhaps you don't like how something is divided or how shared property is handled? Later, things are better. (There's a light at the end of the tunnel and it isn't a train.)
SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)
Avoid important discussions and delicate issues when talking to partners and close friends this morning, even until early afternoon. People will not co-operate early in the day. In fact, they will resist you. Later in the day, everyone softens up. (Never underestimate the power of sweet talk.)
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)
Duty, obligations and hard work seem to be the order of the day this morning. (There is no getting around this.) Even health issues might be discouraging. Ditto for bosses. (Gulp.) Fortunately, later in the day, everything hugely lightens up and you can enjoy a fun time at Happy Hour.
CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)
Difficulties with others are a strain this morning. Someone might rain on your parade. Kids could be an increased responsibility. Romance could be in the toilet. By afternoon, the clouds drift apart and you start feeling good again. TGIF!
AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)
It's not easy day dealing with parents, older relatives, bosses and authority figures. Whether in the external world or at home, these people might block your wishes and efforts. Just be patient because by the afternoon, all is forgotten. Plan for a lovely evening.
PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)
You might fall into worry mode today. (Especially this morning.) That's because things look worse than they really are. And remember that saying: "Worry is like a rocking chair. It gives you something to do but get you nowhere."
TODAY'S BIRTHDAY
Actress Eva Longoria (1975) shares your birthday. You're ambitious and hard-working. This is how you rise to a high position in any group. (Hard work pays off.) Some of you are even attracted to heights, mountaineering and such. Because you are driven, it's important for you to clearly define your goals. People love your enthusiasm and charismatic personality. Expect a social year ahead where all your relationships will improve.
