Today's Horoscope

MOON ALERT We have the all clear today to do business and make important decisions. The moon is in Capricorn.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

Be careful about offending bosses and parents (especially females) because it can easily happen. Either you or someone else could jump to conclusions that could lead to break in the relationship or a dispute. Whatever you do, don't quit your day job as an impulsive whim. ("I'm outta here!")

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

Travel plans will be cancelled, delayed or rescheduled. All plans related to higher education might likewise be changed or cancelled. Arguments about religion, politics, racial issues and matters related to publishing and the media might flare up. Patience!

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

Disputes about shared property and anything you own jointly with others might arise. This could also include insurance matters, banking details and debt. Be careful of rash decisions and hasty judgments. Stay in touch with your bank account so you know what's happening.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

A close friend or partner might want more freedom in the relationship. Or perhaps you do? There's a sense of striving for more excitement and independence in all your relationships. You might feel that you have to make changes for the better so you will be happier.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

Something will interrupt your work routine. Computer crashes, power outages, fire drills, staff shortages or arguments with co-workers are just some examples. Guard against knee-jerk reactions. People are touchy, independent, rebellious... but also adventurous and playful!

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

This is an accident-prone day for your kids if you are a parent or if you work with kids. Therefore, be extra-vigilant. This is also a day full of surprises for romantic partners. ("We were having a fight and a hockey game broke out!") Be patient with everyone.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Interruptions at home as well as domestic arguments might occur today. Computers and electronic gizmos might be on the fritz. Surprise company might appear. Small appliances could break down. Try to keep things down to a dull roar.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

This is an accident-prone day for you, both verbally and physically. You don't have to have an accident but it could be due to impulsive behaviour or a knee-jerk reaction to something or someone. Keep cool. You might also have genius-like ideas!

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Something unusual might impact your cash flow. You might lose money; you might find money. You might impulsively buy something and later wonder, "What was I thinking?" You might find an item or lose something you own. Whaaat?

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

You feel excited, impulsive and impatient. (Yeah, you're all over the map.) You're definitely rebellious and independent. You also want to have more freedom of action. And if you get it, you will suddenly feel liberated. So much is happening it's hard to have any peace of mind. (Especially if you give someone a piece of your mind.)

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

There is a general sense of unrest underlying everything that makes you feel nervous, impatient and mildly irritable. It could make you jump to conclusions or misread what others are saying. You might purposely misread what someone says just to be contrary. ("Are they nuts?")

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

Today's vibes could go in two directions. They could create an argument with a friend or someone who is a member of a group. Sparks will fly! Or, alternatively, you might meet someone who is a real character. One thing is certain; this is not a boring day.

Formula One designer Mike Gascoyne (1963) shares your birthday. People respect you because you are hard-working, sincere and modest. You have a childlike naivete that expects the best of others, whether this is realistic or not. An idealist, you love to talk about your dreams and visions and what "might be." You value family and home but you write the rules. Your year ahead will be fun and social and benefit all relationships.
