MOON ALERT Caution: After 7 a.m. avoid shopping or making important decisions for the rest of the day. The moon is in Libra.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

You might see new ways of earning money or suss out new sources of income. Or you might see new applications for something you already own or perhaps new ways of using things. This is cool because you love to explore, invent and adapt. (Aries is always resourceful.)

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

Look in the mirror to see how you can improve your appearance because you can definitely do this. New haircut? Glasses? New approach to your wardrobe? Think of how you can create a better image in your world because you never get a second chance to make a first impression.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

Something behind the scenes might reveal secrets. Hopefully, these secrets will make a change for the better in your life. Possibly, you yourself will reveal something secretive or tell people behind the scenes what is really going on.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

You might meet someone who impacts you. This person might influence you now and in the future and, quite likely, you will meet them in a group. They might even cause you to change your goals for the future or improve them somehow. (Possibly, you will have this influence on others.)

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

You make a strong impression on important people, no question. Bosses, parents, teachers and VIPs will sit up and take notice. You might even convince them to follow your lead about something that matters. A few of you will develop a passionate crush on someone, perhaps your boss.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Travel and anything that can expand your world will mean a lot you. You feel passionately about political and religious issues. Some of you will fall in love with someone from another culture or country. Possibly, something in the media impacts you.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

This is a hot and sexy day! For those of you who are single, you'll have to follow that age-old advice for playing bridge. (If you haven't a good partner, you better have a good hand.) You'll also feel intense about issues regarding shared property, taxes, debt and inheritances.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

All your relationships with others, especially partners and close friends, will be intense. Issues seem to matter. Things seem to be black and white. You want others to listen to you and they want you to listen to them. (It's that kinda day.)

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

You might develop a crush on a co-worker. Whatever happens, you will be emotionally intense at work. Many of you will see ways to introduce reforms and improvements. If you do, by all means, hop to it. Run your ideas up the flagpole to see if anyone salutes.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

This is a passionate day for romance. (The stuff of hot, steamy movies.) New romance will begin for some of you and, for others, existing relationships will be reignited. "Boris!" "Natasha!" You might also improve your golf score or how you play sports.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Look for ways to make improvements at home, especially improvements to bathrooms, laundry areas and anything related to plumbing, garbage areas or recycling. In the same vein, (but the other arm) you can make improvements to your family relationships.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

You might want to express how much you care for someone because your feelings are intense and highly stimulated, especially romantically or sexually. New relationships that begin will be passionate and memorable. (Great diary material, but who has time to write at times like this?)

Actress Shirley MacLaine (1934) shares your birthday. You are multi-talented. You're nurturing to loved ones and find helping others to be a rewarding experience. Two areas are important to you: career and family. You will shepherd any project so that it functions in the best way it possibly can. Make time in the coming year to study or learn something important. Your rewards will soon follow.
