Today's Horoscope

MOON ALERT After 3:45 a.m. avoid shopping or making important decisions for the rest of the day. The moon is in Scorpio.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

Be careful with financial matters, especially shopping. For starters, this is a poor day to shop for anything other than food and yet, you are tempted to buy gorgeous, luxurious items. You might also not have a clear picture of your finances. (Whaaat?)

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

Because you feel selfless and generous to others, you will enjoy doing something to help someone. You won't mind putting their wants and needs before your own. Look for any opportunity to practice a kindness to someone because you will find it rewarding and gratifying.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

You don't mind putting others before yourself. In fact, because your idealism is aroused, you might be interested in mystical subjects or spiritual discussions. Hidden matters or unexplainable phenomena will intrigue you. (Yes, even UFOs).

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

You'll find it gratifying to lend your efforts to any charitable organization or group that has a mandate to help someone in need. It just seems to be the thing to do right now. But make sure your motivation is sincere and that you are not kidding yourself. (Also easy to do.)

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

Although you are quite ambitious now, your ambition has lessened. You have your eye out for the little guy. You're willing to step aside so that someone else can do their thing or get recognition. This is magnanimous -- but then, Leos are generous by nature.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Grab any opportunity to use your energy to help people in distant lands or people from different backgrounds because this will appeal to you. You will also enjoy studying psychic matters, occult literature or unusual subjects that are exotic but intriguing. ("Houdini? Is that you? It's Mom.")

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Be careful if you are dividing or sharing something, especially shared property and inheritances, because your judgment might be off. You might find it difficult to defend your own best interests. Furthermore, you might even be deceived! Do nothing.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Although you might have been annoyed with partners and close friends lately, you see things in a different light. You understand that we are all frail mortals who are terrified of public speaking. It's no biggie. You'll feel good about cutting others some slack.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Don't be a sucker at work. Yes, it's good to help others but don't kid yourself about going all out for someone or something -- and really, does it matter? Be aware of your motivation. And also, be aware of the motivation of others. You could be confused.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

In a way, this is a romantic day and yet, it's also confusing! You might fall in love with somebody who is totally inappropriate for you. Or you might jump to conclusions when dealing with children. Make sure you know what you're doing. Be aware.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

It will be gratifying if you have a chance to help a family member. You know it's the right thing to do and you know that you can do it. Others will want to cocoon at home and study meditative subjects or just hang out. Just chill.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

This is a good day to relax. Don't take on too much. You might even gain new insights about something that alters your future goals. It's possible to see things in a more enlightened way, especially if you are exploring spiritual subjects. You feel gentle and accommodating to everyone.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY

Actor Channing Tatum (1980) shares your birthday. Once you have created a system, an organization, or even an important relationship, you will go to great lengths to nurture and support it. You are genuinely concerned for the welfare of others. You are dedicated and reliable. In the year ahead something you've been involved with for nine years will end or diminish to create room for something new.
