MOON ALERT Avoid shopping or making important decisions until 1:30 p.m. After that the moon moves from Aquarius into Pisces.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

You might be off base with financial matters, so tread carefully. For example, you might want to buy something that is elegant and luxurious but you can't afford it. However, you might intuitively think of a better job or a better way of earning money.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

It's as if you have X-ray vision because you can read the minds of others. That's why it's easy to talk to people. You almost sense what they want to know ahead of time. You certainly have a strong sense of where they're coming from.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

You'll be drawn to mystical subjects and secrets. You might slip away to a fantasy world because your daydreams are more fun than reality. Actually, we often need this is a source of inspiration to deal with our reality. Enjoy your trip.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

You're sensitive to the feelings of others, which makes this a good day to deal with people. Trust your intuition. You know what to say and when. You'll be sympathetic to someone if they need a kindness or gentle input.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

You might dream up some unusual, inspirational ideas for your future. It's as if the lid is off and you're entertaining big possibilities for your life direction. And why not? After all, everything begins with a thought, doesn't it? Absolutely everything.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Your appreciation of beauty is heightened, which is why you'll love beautiful ideas and beautiful places. You might also want to help others who are less fortunate, especially in foreign countries. You want to make a difference.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

If sharing something, don't give away the farm. You feel so charitable and full of genuine concern you might do yourself a disservice. Remember to keep a healthy self-interest even if you want to benefit someone. You count, too.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

You have a clear sense of what's going on in other people's minds, especially those who are close. You might draw others who want to confide in you. This is the kind of day where you should rely more on your heart and your intuition and less on your analytical thinking. (It happens.)

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

If you can help a co-worker, you will find it a rewarding experience. Perhaps someone needs to talk to because they need a sympathetic ear? However, it's not a good day to perform tasks that require attention to detail or tasks that are routine. No way.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

This is a lovely day for any creative activity. You will either enjoy expressing your own creative talents by working on a project, or you will equally enjoy being on the receiving end. For example, watch a movie, see sports, attend the theatre or listen to music. Time spent with children will be rewarding.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Family discussions will be mutually sympathetic and caring because it's easy for people to second-guess each other. You won't want to tread on anyone's toes and vice versa. This is also a great day to cocoon at home and just please yourself. ("Will someone peel me another grape?")

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

Don't worry if you spend time daydreaming or withdrawing from the world a bit. It's days like this that let you do this. It's important because exploration of your inner world affects your solid material world.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY

Singer Frankie Valli (1934) shares your birthday. You have charm, intelligence and a strong intuition. Because of this, you have much to teach others. You are a realist but you are also pragmatic and practical. Your wit can make others laugh. Privately, you sometimes demand too much of yourself and others. In your year ahead, set aside time for study or course work because you will learn something valuable.
