Today's Horoscope

MOON ALERT After 5:15 a.m. we have the all clear to do business and make important decisions. The moon is in Taurus.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

Now you can go forward with those financial decisions you were considering yesterday. It's all systems go. However, late in the day, someone in authority might oppose you. Or you might discover you don't have the funds or support you need. (Bummer.)

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

You're confident and ready to follow through on yesterday's ideas. You know what you want and you intend to get it. Nevertheless, opposition -- especially late in the day -- might bum you out. Someone might be critical of your plans or try to block you.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

This is a strong time for you. You're doing research behind the scenes and yet outwardly, you're charming, warm and friendly to everyone. Don't be discouraged if someone who is more experienced doesn't go along with things late in the day.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

Your enthusiasm for something makes you charismatic, especially in groups. Everyone wants a part of you. Late in the day, responsibilities with children or a romantic partner might dampen things. But only a little.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

You have a natural authority talking to people in power now, which is why you're convincing and why others are ready to listen to you. Don't be discouraged if a family member or authority figure tries to rain on your parade late in the day. It happens.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

You're gung-ho about higher education, learning, travel, publishing, the media and anything to do with medicine or law. You're exploring new avenues in these areas and talking to people. Good! Late in the day, someone older might be critical. Don't let this get you down.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

You're absorbed with shared property, the possessions and wealth of others, plus debt, inheritances and taxes. (Hey, it's that time of year.) Do what you can to clean up red-tape details. At the end of the day, you might feel broke or discouraged. Don't worry... it's peanuts.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

You are focused on partners, close friends and even members of the general public, which is why you're vivacious, outgoing and magnetizing! People want to hear what you have to say. Don't be perturbed if, late in the day, difficulties with an authority figure squelch you. It's fleeting.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

You're working hard trying to get so much done and you're succeeding! (In part, because you're delegating wherever you can.) Enjoy your accomplishments and don't be deterred by criticisms that might come your way late in the day. Sour grapes?

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

You're playful, romantic and friendly -- lucky you! Your sex drive is strong now as well. Enjoy sports, social occasions, romance and playful times with children. Late in the day, increased responsibilities or the input of someone older might be discouraging. Don't take this to heart.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

You have lots of energy for family and home now, which is where you are focused. Family gatherings, renovations, repairs -- you name it. Just do not let an authority figure get you down this evening because someone might be critical. Oh well, there's one in every crowd, right?

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

Your schedule is jam-packed with short trips, meetings, appointments, conversations with everyone plus increased reading and writing. Fortunately, everything at home is supportive and this helps. Nevertheless, someone will be critical later in the day. Do not take this to heart. What do they know?

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY

Actress Melissa Gilbert (1964) shares your birthday. You are very brave and confident in your point of view. You have strong opinions, you're not afraid to defend your beliefs and you're certainly not afraid to speak out. Personally, you love to be surrounded by beautiful things, which is why many of you are collectors of antiques and collectibles. Your year ahead is the beginning of a fresh new cycle. Open any door!
