Today's Horoscope

MOON ALERT Caution: Avoid shopping or making important decisions until 4:30 p.m. After that the moon moves from Taurus into Gemini.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

Today gets busier as it wears on and your urge to communicate to others will increase. By evening you will be on the go, talking to everyone, running errands and taking notes. Yada, yada, yada. You might meet someone new. (Of course, they could be old.)

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

With Mars in your sign, you are unusually aggressive and pushy about going after what you want. Basically, this is a useful influence but you might want to get some physical exercise to blow off any pent-up steam that might be building up within you.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

Although you've been working behind the scenes, today is a further example of you coming closer and closer to centre stage. First Venus entered your sign and now today the moon will join it. Of course, Jupiter has been there for months boosting your optimism. Yeehaw!

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

This is a good day to shmooze. Make plans to have fun with others after work. (Happy Hour and all that.) Discussions with a female friend could be meaningful, perhaps confidential. Something might influence you to change your future goals.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

You're high-viz now. People notice you, especially bosses, parents, teachers and VIPs. You're talking to lots of people plus you're working hard to achieve something. Be aware that some private information about your personal life could be public. (You might want to do some damage control.)

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Do anything that gives you a sense of adventure or freedom today. Specifically, try to go somewhere you've never been before. Broaden your world by seeing new places and meeting new faces. Learn something new. In other words, shake it up a little!

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Your focus on shared wealth, taxes, inheritances, debt and the wealth and resources of others has been considerable lately, hasn't it? Finally, you want to breathe fresh air again. You want to do something different and go someplace "different."

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Although your focus has been on partners and close friends, later today you will be counting your pennies and staying in touch with your bank account because you want to know how much you have in terms of support from others plus your own assets.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

You continue to bust your buns working hard -- it's just what it is. But later today, conversations with close friends, especially female, will be rewarding and gratifying. Expect to go more than halfway because the moon is opposite your sign.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

You playful devil. It's been fun and games for ages for you, although in truth you can be quite serious. Your fun and pleasurable times will continue, however, today you have plans for the weekend that need to be pulled together. Make lists. Overlook nothing.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

You continue to focus on your private life now with family matters, domestic needs and redecorating or renovating where you live. Today, however, it's time to reward yourself. When the moon changes into Gemini, you want to kick up your heels and have fun! Make plans to go out. Romance is blessed. Sports will appeal as well as laughs with your kids.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

Your busy pace has been quite exhausting. (I don't need to tell you that.) However, I can tell you that later, you will have a chance to cocoon at home and get some R'n'R. Stock up on your favourite munchies. You might want to invite someone over -- or not.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY

Singer/activist Bono (1960) shares your birthday. You have style and charm and are often physically graceful and active. Because you have a pioneering energy, you're not afraid to be different or original. You often have your finger on the pulse of public trends, which is why you should trust your intuition. People are easily like you. In the year ahead, a major decision will arise. Choose wisely.
