Today's Horoscope

MOON ALERT: Avoid shopping or making important decisions from 3:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. After that the Moon moves from Gemini into Cancer.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

Today, you feel like withdrawing somewhere, perhaps at home, because you want to cocoon and have some thumb-sucking comfort. The pace of your days is hectic now and you need to replenish and restore yourself. You're even busy at home with repairs and decorating projects -- sheesh!

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

Conversations with others will be meaningful today because you want to express yourself sincerely. Likewise, you want others to reply to you honestly in a meaningful way. You don't want phoney chit-chat about the weather. Good luck.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

You might identify with something you own today, which will mean you don't want to lend it to anyone. This would be a good day to clean, maintain or fix something you own because you will take pride in what is familiar. You feel sentimental about something.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

Today, the moon moves into your sign, which means you're more emotional than usual. You feel a need to belong and you want to be recognized by others, even appreciated. That's just fine because we all need warmth, understanding and a few hugs.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

You might withdraw from the busyness of everything around you today because relations with women could be difficult or you just might want to hide and find a little peace and quiet. You've been so social lately, you need time to catch your breath.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Contact with others is important today. A female friend might be a strong focus today. For some reason, you feel protective or nurturing about someone. You might even be jealous if a friend pays more attention to someone else. Hey, it happens to everyone.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Your personal life is on public display today. Others see you as being emotionally sensitive and empathetic, which is a good thing. And it's true -- you are more sensitive and responsive today to the needs of others, especially in groups.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

You have a need for adventure and stimulating change today. You want to get outta Dodge so something will shake up your life a little. The obvious option is to do something you don't usually do. Visit ethnic restaurants, talk to people who are different, or go someplace you've never been before.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

It seems like all your experiences are emotionally intense today. Very likely, you will attract emotionally intense people to you. What's with this? It's just the placement of the moon in your chart today. You might also want something that someone else has.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Because the moon is opposite your sign today, you'll have to be more tolerant and accommodating when dealing with others. It's as if the moon is pulling you over in their direction. This happens every month for two days, so it's no big deal. Just be patient.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

You're prepared to put the considerations of others before your own today because you feel pleasure in serving someone. You find it rewarding. You'll also be pleased to deal with home crafts or do something that boosts your health. You're in a goody two-shoes mood.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

Make sure you take time out to play today because you want to have fun! Enjoy romantic escapades, sports events, picnics and barbecues, movies, art shows and playful times with children. Today you just have a need to be yourself and be accepted for who you are. Well, my goodness, why not?

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY

Actor/author/producer/activist/voice-over artist Michael J. Fox (1961) shares your birthday. Like a true Gemini, you have two sides: You can be urbane, witty and the life of the party. And yet, you are also studious, serious and outspoken if need be. You are always genuine and you garner respect for this steadiness in character. Many of you are childlike forever. In the year ahead, an important choice will arise. Choose wisely.
