MOON ALERT We have the all clear to do business and make important decisions. The moon is in Leo.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

A spontaneous party might break out where you live because this is certainly the day for this sort of thing. Perhaps a friend will drop by and trigger a stimulating conversation? Or a real-estate coup might materialize or you might buy something avant-garde or modern for your home.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

This is an exciting day with fresh possibilities. It's almost a guarantee that you will meet new and unusual people or encounter unusual situations. Remember: Happiness is being able to enjoy the scenery on a detour. (Or so they say.)

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

Impulse spending is irresistible. Be careful. Everything to do with cash flow is fast and flashy. Of course, you might find money or you might discover a real treasure. However, you might just as easily lose money or spend foolishly. Forewarned is forearmed.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

Today fair Venus is in your sign at odds with impulsive, unpredictable Uranus. This creates an exciting, stimulating situation in all your relationships, but it is also very unstable. You might provoke a fight just to have a thrill. (It's also a flirty day.)

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

You feel restless. You have that feeling you're waiting for the other shoe to drop. And if it does, will it be in your size? Will it be attractive? Will you eventually get the pair? Life is full of many perplexing questions, and today a few secrets might come out.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

You might meet a real character. Or possibly, someone you already know will do something that amazes you. Either way, this is not a boring day. All your social situations are full of surprises, stimulating detours and cheeky taunts. (Oh my.)

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Relations with authority figures will be full of surprises. For starters, an unexpected flirtation with someone in a position of power might catch you off guard. Or you might get surprising praise, accolades or even a raise. It's a stimulating day!

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

A sudden opportunity to travel somewhere might drop in your lap. Or similarly, a sudden chance to take a course or learn something new might materialize. Flirtations with someone from a different background could really turn your crank. Who knows?

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Gifts, goodies and unexpected favours from others might make your day. Without question, you have a chance of benefiting from the wealth and resources of others. Perhaps someone will offer to lend you something or let you use something they own?

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Patience with others, especially romantic relationships, are exciting and stimulating. However, do be careful you don't become impatient with others if they don't gratify your every need immediately. This is also a good day for getting things out in the open.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Something unusual might make where you work feel better or look better. New staff personnel, new equipment or a shift in a social dynamic could make your job more exciting. Some of you might see a way to be self-employed. ("I'm outta here!") Today is full of all kinds of tantalizing detours.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

Surprise flirtations might make your day. Unexpected invitations to social occasions -- movies, parties, the theatre, or musical performances might be thrilling. However, it's just as likely some of these things might be cancelled because today is full of unpredictable events. Parent should be aware this is an accident-prone day for your kids. Be extra vigilant.

Actor Eamonn Walker (1962) shares your birthday. You are generous, cheerful and optimistic. You like to be active and quite literally in motion. You are also pragmatic and resourceful. Your positive energy and enthusiasm are the secret to your success. Even if troubled, you will mask your pain with a smile. In the year ahead, all your relationships will improve and you will be socially busier.
