MOON ALERT Avoid shopping or making important decisions until 11 p.m. The moon is in Gemini.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

Work is not your first choice -- you would rather party. However, we cannot ignore our jobs, can we? Therefore, take a long lunch if you can. Shmooze with others. Enjoy meetings but avoid important decisions (see moon alert above). Get out this evening.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

This is a fun, playful day! Lucky Taurus natives are on vacation or taking the day off. Romance, love affairs, sports events, social occasions and fun travel are your best choices. In fact, you will be energetically aggressive about having a good time. Ole!

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

It's a wonderful time to entertain at home. Invite family, loved ones and the gang over for good food and drink. You'll enjoy redecorating and tweaking your digs. (However, shop for nothing except food items.) Your party will have lots of energy.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

You've got energy to burn and you feel great. Get involved with whatever activity is going on around you. Don't hold back. You want to be physically active having fun. It's easy to assert yourself in social situations, which is why you might meet someone new and exciting.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

Secret love affairs will take place for some of you. Others will simply enjoy drifting off someplace private and enjoying the day. Sneak in a long lunch if you can. Leave work early. Resist the temptation to shop. (See moon alert.) Sexy secrets might come out.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

All kinds of group activities will appeal to you. If your groups are important classes, conferences and business meetings, defer important decisions. This is not the day. Nevertheless, your interaction with others will be upbeat, energetic and positive.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

You make a great impression on bosses, parents, teachers and VIPs. Don't be afraid to lead the charge. However, this is a moon alert day, which means you go with the flow and do not initiate new decisions. Just shmooze and make points with everyone.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Travel anywhere or do something to expand your horizons because you're eager for fun and adventure. This is a great day for a road trip or chance to talk to people from other countries and different backgrounds. Visit museums, art galleries, beautiful parks and architectural buildings. The beauty of your surroundings will inspire you.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

People in authority want your input about creative matters. Don't hesitate to give advice about fashion, design, layout, furniture arrangement -- whatever -- because your ideas are original and inspired. Your sex drive is amped as well. (A fun, promising day!)

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

You'll enjoy friendly sparring with friends and partners, but what you really want is to get out of town on a pleasure trip. At least, do something different. Be a tourist in your own city. Shake it up a little and inject some variety into your daily routine.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Your sex drive is strong. In another vein (completely unrelated) someone could be generous to you. Gifts, goodies, cash and favours can come your way. In turn, you might reciprocate, but don't give away the farm. Just enjoy a nice, friendly, give-and-take with others.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

This is a wonderful day to socialize with others. Play hooky if you can. Take a long lunch. Accept all invitations to socialize and party. Enjoy sports events, playful times with children, romantic adventures, the theatre and the arts. This is a playful day.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY

Actress Mary Louise Parker (1964) shares your birthday. You are versatile, adaptable and light on your feet. You are always quick to see things from many views and directions. Because of this you are resourceful and comfortable with an unconventional lifestyle. Your strength is in knowing your limitations. This actually gives you confidence. Make time and effort to study or learn something valuable this year because you will not regret it.
