MOON ALERT We have the all clear to do business (whether $10 or $10 million) and make important decisions. The moon is in Capricorn.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

You feel intense about things. Don't be rigid because a few surprises are in store for you, especially with authority figures. You might also overdo something at home or with your family. "Let's go for the whole nine yards!" A little moderation, perhaps?

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

All your communications with others will be definite, strong and forceful. Be prepared for travel changes and detours because these are likely. Whatever happens, don't exaggerate or promise more than you can deliver to others. Be cool. (And sensible.)

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

Keep an eye on your money, especially your bank accounts. Little speed bumps and detours might affect your cash flow for some reason. You might also find money or lose money. Guard your possessions as well. Having said that, this can be a profitable day for business and commerce.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

All your interactions with others will be intense, exuberant and possibly defiant. This is not a boring day. You want to do things in a big way. You also want to enjoy yourself. Nevertheless, struggles with authority figures could make you rebel and be silly. (Don't let that trip you up.)

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

You want to be of service to others. You might also want to improve your health as well as your job, if this is appropriate. Whatever you do, you might overdo things because you're painting life with broad strokes. Travel delays and detours are likely as well. Oops.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

This is a marvellous, playful day. (Great day to flirt.) Enjoy shmoozing with others, especially in group situations. But do keep track of your bank account and anything to do with shared property because a few surprises might be waiting here.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

You feel strongly about issues at home. You know what you want and you intend to get it. (Lighten up on the obsession, ya think?) Difficulties with partners and close friends might make things temporarily prickly. Gloves off! Duel at dawn! But first, a little nosh.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Don't make promises to others you can't keep because you might be tempted to do this. Of course, it's just your own optimism and enthusiasm that makes you say these things. Be careful because this is a mildly accident-prone day. (Oops, sorry, was that your foot?")

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

By nature, you like to do things in a big way. (Even Leos are amazed.) You might go overboard financially speaking, so be aware of this. Be patient with children and romantic partners. Vacation plans might be interrupted. Enjoy the ride.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

You are surprisingly extravagant, generous and possibly even a bit lazy, dare we say? (We did.) You want to overindulge yourself in a pleasant, gorgeous way. (And why not?) Be prepared for interruptions and unexpected events at home. Just cope.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

On the whole, this is a feel-good day, although you might have some secrets. You can be surprisingly secretive, especially because you give the appearance of being so open. Some undercurrent makes you restless and possibly even rebellious. And so it goes.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

Keep an eye on your money and your possessions because a few things are a bit unpredictable here. In other words, you might lose something or break something. Of course, you might also find something. This could happen out of sheer negligence simply because you are in serious party mode. Oh yeah!

Actor/director Sean Penn (1960) shares your birthday. You are powerful, versatile, forceful and explosive. You don't do things halfway. Despite these personality characteristics, privately you can be very soft-spoken and solitary. (You protect your private life.) You're a natural leader and quick to take over managing anything. (You can also be quick to argue.) This year you will work to build or construct something important to you.
