Today's Horoscope

MOON ALERT Until 6 p.m. we have the all clear to do business (whether $10 or $10 million) and make important decisions. The moon is in Capricorn.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

Spontaneous impulses to have fun or explore social occasions, vacations (and possibly flirtations) might trigger intense disagreements with partners and close friends. Perhaps someone doesn't like your choice of fun, creative plans? Or they disagree with the way you're dealing with children?

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

Difficulties with co-workers might arise perhaps because sudden demands from home affect your job. Actually, unexpected occurrences on the home front might also impact your health. It could be anything. Be calm dealing with people at work. Stay chill.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

Spontaneous short trips or impulsive, bright ideas are exciting, however, they might lead to disagreements with romantic partners or with other people regarding children or perhaps even vacation plans. To keep the peace, check with others before you do anything. Simple courtesy.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

Family disagreements might arise. They could relate to a breakdown of appliances or the need for repairs or the replacement of something at home. (This makes everyone frustrated.) Quite likely this will generate a sudden hemorrhage to your cash funds. Ouch.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

You feel energetic and impulsive. You might want to zig when others zag. Be patient with neighbours, siblings and relatives because you might be preoccupied or obsessed with something, which is why you want others to agree with you. Best to lighten up.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

You feel compulsive or obsessed about financial issues. Perhaps it's related to how you earn your money or a strong desire to buy something? ("I have to have it!") Whatever the case, go slowly so you really know what you're doing.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

You might be obsessed about something or perhaps you just can't get a song out of your mind, like, I Shot the Sheriff. (Sorry to do this to you.) People you encounter in groups might have surprising suggestions. It looks like someone will rev your engines.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

You will really go after what you want if researching something. No holds barred. You won't stop until you find what you're looking for. Your persistence could be triggered by surprise demands from people in authority -- bosses, parents, teachers, VIPs or the police. (Gulp.)

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Travel plans might be suddenly changed. They certainly might be initiated unexpectedly. A sudden change of plans regarding publishing, the media, higher education or something to do with medicine and the law is also likely.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Be careful in discussions with authority figures because you might be too insistent or demanding and this will go over like a lead balloon. Tread carefully. Meanwhile, something surprising regarding shared property, taxes, debt and inheritances might occur.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

In discussions about philosophy, religion, politics or racial issues, you are heated and opinionated. Be careful. Don't be bombastic or forceful. In fact, the best way to get others to listen to you is to whisper. Meanwhile, partners and close friends are full of surprises.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

You will be dogmatic about issues related to shared property, taxes, inheritances and anything you own jointly with others. You won't budge. Perhaps by standing your ground you will create a sudden change related to your job, your health or a project you're doing.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY

Actor Sam Neill (1947) shares your birthday. You want your life to run in an organized, smooth manner, which is why you strive to be efficient and productive. You are opinionated and observant. You like to be involved in important projects. Privately, you enjoy your creature comforts -- good food, sex and luxurious sleep. This year partnerships and close friendships will be your primary focus.
