MOON ALERT We have the all clear to do business (whether $10 or $10 million) and make important decisions. The moon is in Pisces.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

This is an excellent day to do research and long-range planning for the future, especially regarding taxes, debt, inheritances, insurance matters and anything you own jointly with others. Someone older or more experienced might have good advice for you. (Then again, they might not.)

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

Talk to those who are older and more experienced because you might get some good advice or an introduction to an important contact. You're thinking about your hopes and dreams for the future and how you can make them a reality.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

Discussions with authority figures will be meaningful. Do be aware that intimate details about your personal life might be on public display for some reason. Caution against emotional displays in public. You might want to confide in your boss or someone in a position of authority or vice versa.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

You want to escape from your ho-hum routine. You need a breather. This is a good day to make travel plans or future plans for higher education or training. It's also a good time for serious discussions about politics, religion and the government.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

You might wrap up some loose ends regarding taxes, debt, insurance matters, inheritances and anything you own jointly with others. Figure out what you owe and what you own. What does the picture look like? Information is empowering. (If you think education is expensive, try ignorance.)

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Discussions with partners and close friends might turn serious. Actually, this is a good day to discuss the division of labour or how to share expenses because people are more aware of their obligations and duties, and certainly their role in the relationship. (One hopes.)

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Choose work that requires attention to detail because you will excel. You won't be casual about whatever you do. Au contraire, nothing will escape your attention. Furthermore, your focus and endurance will be excellent. Keep your head down and your powder dry.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

This a productive day for you, especially in discussions about professional sports, the entertainment world, the hospitality industry or anything related to children, their care and education. Someone older might have advice about how you can best approach these responsibilities.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Family discussions will go well. No doubt they will focus on practical matters regarding shared expenses or how to take care of someone who is older. In fact, someone older and more experienced might offer excellent advice. ("When I was a kid, we were so poor we lived in a hole in the road.")

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Because your powers of concentration are excellent, choose routine work you might have been avoiding. Discussions with siblings, neighbours and relatives will be productive especially with practical matters and plans for the future.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

This is a day for serious thinking. Your primary focus is on practical matters and your responsibilities to others. Do whatever you can to get better organized. No doubt you will enjoy working alone. Nevertheless, if you have questions, ask for advice from someone older or experienced -- someone you respect.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

You are inclined to take a sober and realistic view of life because the moon is in your sign dancing with stern Saturn. However, this is a useful influence. You are willing to put up with inconveniences and obligations to achieve whatever it is you want to do. It's a stiff-upper-lip day.

Director/producer Mira Nair (1957) shares your birthday. You are knowledgeable. You have a wide variety of interests that you like to research. You are often a key player in your circle of friends, a role you comfortably welcome because you're a natural leader. At times, you are outrageous, which others find entertaining. Work hard to build or construct something this year because it matters.
