MOON ALERT: After 2:30 a.m. we have the all clear to do business (whether $10 or $10 million) and make important decisions. The moon is in Taurus.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

I suggest you resist throwing your weight around at work because you might be convinced about something but, actually, you don't have all the facts. Misunderstandings, deception and errors are likely. Tread carefully. You don't want to be red-faced later.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

This might be a difficult day for romance. You think you know what you want and you might even go after it, but is this really what you want? Similarly, relations with children might be undermined by self-doubt or confusion. Time for dark chocolate.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

You might feel discouraged about something at home or within your family dynamic. ("I always end up with the short end of the stick.") Actually, things are confusing for everyone. People aren't sure what they want, including you. Take it easy.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

Because you are hesitant or second-guessing yourself, you will have trouble persuading others to agree with you. Your own indecisiveness might be too obvious. Communications will suffer with others, no question. Just grin and bear it.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

This is a confusing day with finances so be careful. You might be tempted to go overboard on something, or something might look better than it really is. If you can postpone financial decisions and major purchases, even if the moon alert is OK, do so.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Your energy is flagging. You feel like you're slogging through quicksand, which is unusual because fiery Mars is in your sign pumping your vitality, but foggy Neptune is clouding your sense of purpose and your drive. Be careful.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Something might be going on behind the scenes that disturbs you. Let's just say this: If you think something fishy is going on -- it is. Trust your gut instincts, and yet, having said that, you still could be off base because confusion is rampant.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Your dealings with others, especially in group situations, might be subject to misinterpretation. Perhaps someone let you down because they didn't realize what you expected, or vice versa -- they believe you're letting them down but it was just a misunderstanding. Classic.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

With Mars high in your chart now, you're ambitious, which is just fine, but Mars and Neptune are in opposition, which means that outgoing, driving, forceful energy is clouded and misunderstood. You might want to rein it in a little. Hmm?

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Be careful about demanding your way regarding publishing, the media, medicine, the law or anything to do with travel and dealing with foreign countries. You could end up with egg on your face because your information is incorrect. Just wait a little and play your cards close to your heaving bosom.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

This is a poor day to make important decisions about how to divide or share something. Postpone discussions about inheritances, shared property, insurance disputes and such because it's hard for you to get 100 per cent behind your own best interests. And if you can't defend your own best interests, who can?

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

Encounters with others might be discouraging. For starters, somebody might try to pull the wool over your eyes and you'll know it. But how disappointing! Or you might be tempted to turn your back on someone. Keep your head down and your powder dry. Don't go out on a limb.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY

Actor Robert Reed (1932-1992) shared your birthday. You are lively, independent and ready to speak your mind. Sometimes it seems like excitement and stimulation virtually surround you. You are competitive, outspoken and aggressive about going after what you want. You are also a loyal friend and family member. Good news! This year might be one of the most powerful years of your life. Dream big!
