Today's Horoscope

MOON ALERT After 9 a.m. we have the all clear to do business and make important decisions. The moon is in Taurus.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

You feel passionate about everything, intensely so. This could manifest as an obsessive crush on your boss or someone in authority. Or you might demand your way with artistic, creative decisions. Or you might choose to manipulate someone through power or sex.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

Avoid religious and political discussions because clarity and objectivity will be difficult. People are obsessed with their beliefs (including you). You might be determined to bring about change in the world by forcing your beliefs on others.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

Unusual and intense love experiences might take place for some of you because you feel passionate to the point of being obsessed. Or you might be completely fascinated by someone. Issues about shared property and wealth of others will also matter greatly.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

Discussions with others, especially with partners and close friends, will be passionately intense. This passion could relate to anything -- sex, opinions, the arts or a fervent desire to win someone over to your way of thinking. Perhaps someone wants to intellectually seduce you?

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

You have strong feelings about others at work or perhaps about a particular issue. You might want to introduce reforms and improvements. Or you might have a crush on a co-worker. Whatever the case, you feel passionately intense about things.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Romance will be passionate and memorable because you have strong feelings about romantic partners and practically everything else. Sports events, the arts, show business, hospitality and playful times with children are a strong focus.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Look for ways to make improvements where you live or perhaps even improvements to a family relationship, but go gently. Your intense eagerness to bring about change (and get your own way) might overshadow your good intentions. Let things unfold naturally.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

No doubt you want to convince someone to agree with your point of view because you feel so strongly about certain issues. You might become infatuated with someone or insist that others believe in what you believe. Easy does it, pardner, the cows know the way home.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

If shopping, you might be obsessed about buying something or you might be just as obsessed about a money-making idea or getting your way in business or on the job, especially if you believe it will affect profit and earnings. Easy does it.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Passions run so high you might feel jealous of someone, especially a lover. You might even use guilt or some other negative emotion to control his or her behaviour. Because of your obsession, it's easy to go off course and inadvertently create problems for everyone.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Something secretive and behind the scenes might have you in its clutches. You can think of nothing else. This could be a secret you are guarding, or it might be a secret that has just been exposed. Don't do anything you will regret later.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

A platonic friend might suddenly look flirtatiously appealing, or perhaps this friend is flirting with you? Something seems to change the balance of things into a more passionate, intense relationship, if only briefly.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY

Jazz guitarist/composer Kevin Eubanks (1957) shares your birthday. You do not suffer fools gladly. You rarely back down from a challenge or accusation because you're intense and spirited. Justice is important to you and you will defend your rights and the rights of others. Honour matters. However, you are careful and patient in your work. This year, a major change might take place, perhaps as significant as something that happened around 2004.
