MOON ALERT Until 3:20 p.m. we have the all clear to do business (whether $10 or $10 million) and make important decisions. The moon is in Gemini.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

In the next several months, it might surprise you how much you want to examine your goals. You'll want to define what your expectations are and how well you are doing about achieving them. You might also wonder about a group.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

Focus on your career and life direction in the next three months. You might want to undertake new studies or anything that will promote your career. This will be a good time to talk to bosses and employers to get a promotion.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

The next several months are perfect for any kind of education or study because you're eager to learn. You'll also be eager to travel because you want to be intellectually stimulated by anything new and adventurous. You might meet someone younger from another culture.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

You will want to clear up red-tape details about inheritances, wills, estates, banking matters and anything to do with shared property in the next few months. Take advantage of this energy because you can get a lot done. You will be very productive.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

For the next few months, Mercury will be opposite your sign giving you a chance to clarify and explain issues to others. This will be a good time to enter into contracts and negotiations. You will also love stimulating, intellectual conversation.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

You will be happy doing all kinds of mental work in the next few months. You'll be more attentive to detail than usual (if this is possible) and you will want everything to be perfect. You will plan carefully, make lists, and whatever you do, you will do it well. The only downside is you might be critical of others.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

The next few months offer you fabulous opportunities to express your creative thoughts and ideas. Grab every chance to enjoy playful times with children. Basically, you want to have fun and use your mind for amusing, prankish diversions.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

In some ways, you might choose to intellectually withdraw in the next few months to examine your personal life and your domestic needs. This will be a good time for family discussions and also for repairs at home. Some will research their family history.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Your daily pace will accelerate from now until the end of March with short trips (including trips down memory lane) and discussions with others. Don't settle down to relax. Accept this busy pace of discussions, errands and fascinating, intellectual activities.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Money, money, money! In the next few months, you will be more concerned about cash flow, earnings, business and commercial affairs. This could be due to shopping more than usual, starting your own business, or organizing your finances. Ka-ching!

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Mercury is in your sign now and instead of staying for around three weeks, it's going to stay there until March (for the most part). This will stimulate your desire to enlighten others and talk to people. And yet, you will also want to examine your own ideas and points of view as well. If you can travel, by all means do so.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

A quiet, introspective time awaits you for the next few months. You might want to go off by yourself and do research, but you will be reticent to share your ideas unless you feel that others understand you.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY

Media personality Howard Stern (1954) shares your birthday. Your career is important to you. You intend to be someone. However, you are always drawn to adventure and excitement, in addition to which, you like to live a life of service to others. You are lively, talkative and entertaining. (Sometimes to the point of controversy.) In the year ahead, you will focus on partnerships and close friendships.
