Today's Horoscope

MOON ALERT We have the all clear to do business (whether $10 or $10 million) and make important decisions. The moon is in Sagittarius.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

Today is a contrast from yesterday. Thank goodness! Surprise trips to travel somewhere or explore new ideas, especially religious, political or racial concepts, might suddenly develop. You might also meet someone from a different background who is fascinating. It's an interesting day.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

Unexpected gifts, goodies and advantages from others might come your way. Keep your pockets open and be ready to accept whatever is offered. Take note: Your window of opportunity will be brief so you will have to act fast. And if you act fast you'll have no regrets. ("Got it!")

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

Friends and partners might surprise you by saying or doing something unexpected. Or perhaps you will meet someone new or discover new information about someone close to you. Whatever the case, it will be positive. Conversations with others are upbeat.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

Something at work might catch you off guard. Unfortunately, computer crashes and power outages are a possibility. Ditto for staff shortages and cancelled meetings. Nevertheless, there is an air of excitement because things are different. (Sometimes "different" is fun but sometimes "different" is not fun.)

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

This is a playful, flirtatious day. Make sure you are up for doing something different, especially if it is a social invitation to a movie, sports event, romantic date or a mini vacation. Parents should keep an eye on their kids to prevent accidents and surprises.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Your home routine will be interrupted. Possibly, small appliances will break down or minor breakages could occur. Unexpected company might knock at the door. A family member might have surprising news. Allow extra time for wiggle room so you can accommodate change.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

This is an interesting day because you might see new places or meet new faces. Spontaneous short trips are likely. Something unusual will create a few detours. However, it is also a potentially accident-prone day so be vigilant.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Keep an eye on your money and possessions because something unexpected might occur. You might find money, you might lose money. Guard your possessions against loss or theft. Spontaneous purchases might please you. Could be anything. Ka-ching!

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

You feel independent and ready for anything. You can almost sense the electricity in the air. This is the kind of day where you can act on your impulses because they will lead you to exciting, unexpected, stimulating situations. "More whiskey and fresh horses for my men!"

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Your intuition and psychic abilities are heightened. It's as if your antennas are highly tuned to others and you are zoned in onto what they want or need. Listen to that little voice on your shoulder or wherever your little voice lives.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

You might meet a new friend, especially a female acquaintance. Or someone you know might do or say something that surprises you. This is the classic day to discover new friends and fascinating people. In turn, others will find you interesting and fascinating as well. It's a mutual admiration society!

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

Interactions with bosses, parents and VIPs will hold few surprises for you. Similarly, they might be surprised by you. Someone might say something that makes you reflect and think about changing your life direction in a tiny way. All your discussions with others are intuitive. You're shooting from the hip.

Hockey legend Wayne Gretzky (1961) shares your birthday. You are successful at whatever you do because you give it your all, in addition to which you are confident. No halfway measures for you. Au contraire, you are dramatic, bold and aggressive. It's important for you to have freedom of action and to control your situation. In the coming year, you will have a chance to study or learn something important.
