Today's Horoscope

MOON ALERT We have the all clear today to do business (whether $10 or $10 million) and make important decisions. The moon is in Cancer.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

In discussion with others, especially in a group, you will encounter resistance about how to use an allotted amount of money or the resources of others. Perhaps someone older or more experienced will shoot down your suggestions. Just wait.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

This is a poor day to expect co-operation from others. (What gives?) Do not ask for approval or permission from others because their response will be, "Talk to the hand." You have to know when to hold and when to fold.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

At university, college or postsecondary training, it might be tough dealing with teachers. They will not agree to what you want or give you permission or approval. (Bummer.) Similarly, your efforts to travel might also meet with obstacles. (Bummer once again.)

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

Discussions about the care, education and financial support of kids will not go well. Someone is unco-operative, perhaps everyone. In fact, if you try to get help from others or want to use the resources of others you will meet with resistance. Sad but true.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

People are critical, which is why conversations with others are difficult or standoffish. Knowing this, don't expect too much from anyone. Instead, work on your own and wait for another day to expect friendly co-operation and someone to pick up the tab.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Things are tough at work. Supervisors and authority figures might be on your case. Even co-workers are critical. Who needs this? Not you. But be careful because you might be part of the problem instead of part of the solution. Refrain from criticism.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Children are more demanding or they feel like a burden. Or perhaps whatever you're doing with children, sports, the arts or any social occasion just seems to rub someone the wrong way. Don't overreact. There's one in every barrel. Ah, yes.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Parents or authority figures might be critical of what you want to do. They will squash your ideas and kill your enthusiasm. Why? Because they can. Actually, it's because everyone has difficulty dealing with someone older or in authority. It's just that kinda day. (Knowing this, don't push your luck.) Ya think?

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

It's easy to fall into worry mode or negative thinking. Try not to do this. Remember that old saying: "Worry is like a rocking chair. It gives you something to do but gets you nowhere." Your thoughts become your words, which then become your actions. Be positive. Smile!

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

This is a poor day to ask anyone for money or financial assistance. Likewise, it's a poor day to rally your troops at work. Either they will not co-operate, or someone in authority will tell you to change your tune. It's discouraging but it's just for today. It is what it is.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

You might feel cut off from others and lonely. ("Woe is me.") Don't let this get to you because this is a vibe that many people feel. The problem is that duties and responsibilities are in the way of your own self gratification. You're trapped. Oh well. (Just for today.)

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

Today there is a depressing, restrictive quality in the air. It's not the day to try to break out of your rut to try something new. Just dog-paddle and stay away from the deep end. Many people, including you, feel world-weary. Oy vey. Time for dark chocolate.

Actress Natalie Dormer (1982) shares your birthday. You're an independent thinker and a bit of a maverick. You have an inventive mind; you love to explore new ideas. Because you want to make the world a better place, you will lend your efforts to meaningful causes whether you lead the charge or support others. This year you will focus on relationships and close friendships.
