Today's Horoscope

MOON ALERT We have the all clear to do business (whether $10 or $10 million) and make important decisions. The moon is in Gemini.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

The day will get more interesting as it wears on. Later, expect to meet new faces and see new places. In addition, you're full of bright, original ideas. All this stimulation will invigorate and please you because you love fresh new turf.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

Give your important financial decisions some sober second thought. For the most part, you are on solid ground. However, as the day wears on, unpredictable events will impact your cash flow and ideas about money and spending. Keep an eye out regarding your possessions.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

The moon is in your sign, and late in the day it will dance with unpredictable Uranus. This makes you restless, and keen to seek out excitement and stimulation. Actually, you probably won't have to seek this out -- it will find you!

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

You feel vaguely restless because the moon is in a hidden part of your chart stimulated by wacky Uranus. This might make you feel indecisive, especially later in the day, but it could also provoke genius-like ideas out of the blue. Clever you.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

Late in the day, someone will surprise you; or you might meet someone unusual and different. Whatever happens will be interesting. In fact, it might nudge you to change your goals for the future. Perhaps this person will show you that bigger things are possible?

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Be aware your personal business is not as private as you think. Late in the day, someone in a position of authority (parent, boss or teacher, VIP or the police) will surprise you or catch you off guard in some way. Hopefully, it's enlightening.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

The day is full of possibilities. Stay light on your feet because toward the end of the day, you might suddenly take a trip or travel somewhere you hadn't expected. News through the media or regarding medicine, the law and higher education might also offer some surprises.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Stay on top of details regarding shared property, inheritances and insurance matters because a mild surprise regarding these areas might occur late in the day. Make friends with your bank account so you know what's going on. Possibly, a sudden gift will drop in your lap.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Be prepared to go more than halfway when dealing with others because the moon is opposite your sign. It just works like that. All it requires is a bit of co-operation and tolerance. However, something surprising will occur (perhaps with a female) late in the day.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

It will please you to make a to-do list and cross items off as you work through your day. You want to feel that you're organized and doing a good job. (Which you probably are because Capricorns are not slouches.) Warning: Computer equipment might break down late in the day.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

This is the perfect day to play, have fun and enjoy sports events, the arts and playful times with children. A surprise flirtation might make your heart go pitter patter, especially late in the day. Parents should be vigilant with children to avoid accidents.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

You'll enjoy cocooning at home if you get a chance. You want to relax and be around familiar surroundings. Nevertheless, late in the day, your reverie will be interrupted by the unexpected company, computer glitches or something that is broken.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY

Artist Piet Mondrian (1872-1944) shares your birthday. You are imaginative and conceptual, which is why you have the skill to bring the abstract into the concrete. Despite your fantasies, what you create are often practical applications. You are careful about who you can trust because you are sensitive. (And you are giving.) Good news: this year might be one of the most powerful years of your life. Dream big!
