MOON ALERT Avoid shopping or making important decisions from 5:30 a.m. until 3:15 p.m. After that the moon moves from Sagittarius into Capricorn.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

This is a confusing day so tread carefully. With the sun in your sign, you are still empowered, just make sure you don't go off the rails.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

This is a good day to lie low and play it safe. However, it's a creative day, which can mean excellent productivity for artists.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

This is a great day to shmooze with others in a lighthearted, fun-loving way. Don't discuss business or important things. Don't agree to anything significant. Just go with the flow and enjoy your day. Be friendly with everyone.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

Remember the sun is acting like a spotlight on you now, which causes others to notice you more than usual. And the good news is they see you in a positive light.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

Travel plans are on your mind as well as thoughts about publishing, or working in the media. Others are entertaining plans for further education. This is all good.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Keep your eye on the moon alert to avoid purchases you will regret. Avoid important financial decisions.LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

You will be focused on partners and close friends. Discussions could be frank and meaningful because during a moon alert, anything can happen. However, just explore different parameters and do not agree to anything until the moon alert is over. Forewarned is forearmed.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

The day might be a tad frustrating because on one hand, you want to get better organized and get things done, but on the other hand the moon alert takes up a large part of the day and this stymies efficiency.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

This is a playful, creative day. Enjoy hanging out with friends or exploring new ideas. Just test the waters and don't settle on anything or decide until after the moon alert is over. Have a long lunch or brunch with loved ones. Take it easy and have fun.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Your focus on home, family and personal matters continues. If you have important discussions with family members, don't agree to anything until the moon alert is over.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

You might enjoy a short trip or anything that allows you to learn something new. You will love to meet new faces in new places. Keep everything light because most of the day is filled with a moon alert, which is great for creativity, but poor for business and realistic decisions.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

Your focus has been on financial matters and cash flow lately. Do take note that the day is a poor one for these decisions and for shopping. Check the moon alert above before acting on anything important. Just keep things light.
