MOON ALERT

Until 6:30 p.m., we have the all-clear to do business and make important decisions; after, that it's goofy playtime. The moon is in Gemini.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

You might feel restless. You'll notice your mind jumping from topic to topic. That's why this is a perfect day for a short trip somewhere. You'll enjoy discussions with siblings and neighbours, especially serious, emotional discussions. Nothing fluffy.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

The moon draws your focus to cash flow, earnings and financial matters. Some of you might want to spend money as well. If this is the case, please note the moon alert above, because late in the day, it's a poor time for shopping and decisions. (Just a good time to party.)

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

With the moon in your sign, you will be more emotional than usual. That's par for the course. However, you might also be a bit more lucky than usual. Ask the universe for a favour, because it might be granted to you.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

Work alone or behind the scenes because you have a need to withdraw from the busyness of the world around you. You need a rest. Your increased popularity means you have to replenish and restore yourself somehow. Respect your need for some solitude.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

A discussion with a female acquaintance will be important to you. You might identify goals or dreams and hopes for the future that you had forgotten. It's curious how we can sometimes lose touch with the most important things.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Private details about your personal life might be public. (Especially in the eyes of bosses, parents, teachers, VIPs and the police.) Yikes! Do whatever you can to do some damage control. Keep things lighthearted this evening.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

You want to experience more of life. You want to travel or explore new territory. Possibly, you can meet new and unusual people. Whatever happens that is different will please you. Seek adventure and a chance to learn something new.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

A heart-to-heart discussion about differences in values might take place, especially with a female. This could lead to a bridge for better understanding in the future. You might also focus on taxes, debt, bills and shared property.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Because the moon is opposite your sign, you have to go more than halfway when dealing with others. This simply requires a little compromise and tolerance, which is no biggie. In two weeks, when the moon is in your sign, they will have to kowtow to you.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

The day's energy makes you want to get better organized. Make a to-do list of hygiene items you need to buy or whatever you need to replace that you have run out of at home. As you cross these tasks off your list, you'll feel satisfied.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

This is a playful day. Accept all invitations to party. Take a long lunch. Leave work early or enjoy a happy hour with friends. Sports events, movies, the theatre and all social occasions will appeal. As the evening wears on, it becomes more fun-loving.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

Home, family and your domestic world are your focus. A conversation with a female, perhaps mom, could be significant. Late in the day is a lovely time to entertain at home, or alternatively, to cocoon at home and hide. Your choice.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY

Actress Emilia Clark (1987), who plays Daenerys Targaryen in HBO's Game of Thrones, shares your birthday. You speak your mind. In fact, you know how to communicate with or without words. Although witty and sardonic, you seek a calm environment. You are a realist who takes a keen interest in the world around you. This year, you will have opportunities for growth and a chance to start to boost your finances for the next three years. Reduce your debt. All your relationships will improve. Bonus!
