MOON ALERT We have the all clear to do business and make important decisions. The moon is in Taurus.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

You might see new uses or applications for something that you own. You might also see new approaches to earning money or how to make a little money on the side. Do not go overboard with luxury spending, which is something that could easily happen.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

This is a strong day for you because the moon is in your sign and it is dancing nicely with two other planets. Friendships will be warm because you feel sympathetic to others. This is a good day to take a realistic look in the mirror and think about how you can improve your image.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

Solitude or working alone or behind the scenes will please you. You might want to help others even if it means putting their interests before your own. You feel relatively selfless and willing to give your time to others. A noble gesture.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

Conversation with a female acquaintance could be significant. This person might need someone to confide in or vice versa, perhaps you want to share something confidential. You might also attract someone powerful to you. It's an interesting day.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

Personal details about your private life might become public information. Furthermore, these details might not even be quite true. (Just partly true, which is even more dangerous.) Oh well. You might have to face someone powerful to save your reputation.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Travel anywhere if you can. If you can't travel, then be a tourist in your own city. It's important that you do something different to expand your experience of life because you want to escape. You want to get away from your daily humdrum to have some adventure.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Be careful in decisions regarding sharing property or dividing something. Don't give away the farm. Furthermore, make sure you have all the facts because something might look better than it really is. On the other hand, you might be laughing all the way to the bank.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Be prepared to go more than halfway when dealing with others because the moon is opposite your sign. Actually, this should be easy to do because for the most part, people are reasonable. However, you could have a serious conversation with someone powerful.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

It's easy to be co-operative with employees and co-workers because you have feelings of mutual sympathy. You might also see ways to introduce improvements. Either you could see these reforms or a female co-worker will. Why not improve things?

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

This is a powerful, flirtatious, romantic day. You might develop a crush on someone who is either ethereal, fey and Piscean, or a passionate gothic Scorpio. (Oh my.) This will be a productive day for artists and creative people.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

You might want to cocoon at home because you want the pleasure of relaxing among familiar surroundings. In fact, you will want to pamper yourself. If you start to tweak your digs, you might see new uses or applications for something you already own.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

Your psychic abilities (and you do have them) will be finely tuned. Trust your hunches. However, later in the day, you might have a powerful, penetrating discussion with someone. This is a strong day for writers, teachers and actors.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY

Actress Meryl Streep (1949) shares your birthday. One of the reasons you rise to any occasion and often do the impossible is that you see life as an adventure. You have a strong fantasy life, yet you have a wonderful practical side and can make an excellent homemaker. Consciously or not, you exert a strong influence on those around you. Good news! This might be one of the most powerful years of your life. Dream big!
