Today's Horoscope

MOON ALERT Until 8:40 p.m. we have the all clear to do business and make important decisions. The moon is in Taurus.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

The day gets better as it wears on and by evening, you feel jovial. Therefore, plan for social occasions or casual get-togethers. In fact, in the month ahead, you will be pleased and surprised to notice how much love there is in your daily world. (Gosh.)

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

The moon is in your sign. Although the early morning is difficult (even defeating), by evening things are completely different. You feel happy and warm to everyone. Look for ways to boost your income in the coming month because you will buy goodies for yourself or loved ones.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

Fair Venus enters your sign to stay for the next month making you socially charming and diplomatic. Take some time today to regroup and get some rest so you are ready to give the world your best.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

Early morning discussions with others might be bleak and discouraging. (Fear not, as this day wears on, it gets better and better.) By evening, a discussion with a female, especially in a group, will lift your spirits. A secret love affair is waiting in the wings for some of you. Hmmm.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

In the early hours, do not approach female authority figures because you will be discouraged or refused. Wait until late in the day, when everyone is receptive to you. The month ahead will be excellent for shmoozing with friends and creative types.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

You want to get away from all this. It's Monday and you're not sure if you can face the week. You can. By evening, you will enjoy socializing with people from different backgrounds and other countries. In the next few weeks, you might develop a crush on someone richer, older or worldlier. (LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Late in the day is a good time for discussions about how to divide an inheritance or deal with shared property. If money comes your way, grab every chance to go somewhere in the next month because travel for pleasure will appeal.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Be prepared to accommodate others because the moon is opposite your sign. Early in the morning is not the time because people are not co-operative and life is just hard, but this evening is a piece of cake. (Get whipped cream on the side.)

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

Early-morning efforts at work are difficult. No question. Do not be discouraged because by late in the day, you feel rewarded. (Whew.) Meanwhile, in the month ahead, all your relationships with partners and close friends will improve.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Children might be an increased responsibility very early this morning. Cope as best you can. By evening, this scenario turns right around into something positive. Go figure. Meanwhile, the month ahead promises chances for a raise or praise where you work. Good!

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

In the early hours of the morning, things are difficult at home, especially with female relatives. Fortunately, as the day wears on, they improve dramatically. You have much to look forward to in the coming month because pleasure, the arts and fun times with kids and sports will bring you pleasure.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

In the early hours, you might be worried about something. Fortunately, by evening, these worries are gone. In the coming month, plan to redecorate your home so you can enjoy entertaining family members and guests.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY

Director, producer, writer, actor Joss Whedon (1964) shares your birthday. You are romantic and charming. You're also convincing. Close relationships are important to you. You appreciate the beauty of art, music and literature. In spite of your fanciful, adventurous dreams, you can be practical when running your own home. This year something you've been involved with for nine years will end or diminish to make room for something new.
