Monday's Horoscope

MOON ALERT We have the all clear to do business and make important decisions. The moon is in Leo.

ARIES (March 21-April 19)

There's good news and there's bad news. The good news is surprise flirtations and unexpected invitations to social events will please you. The bad news is you might not have the money or resources to follow through on your plans.

TAURUS (April 20-May 20)

Unexpected changes to your home routine could cause difficulties with someone. You might have to change plans or cancel on someone, and they're not happy.

GEMINI (May 21-June 20)

Your daily routine will change. You might make a spontaneous decision to travel or do something different. Or you might have an accident. This interruption could have a negative impact on your health or job, but fortunately, it's brief.

CANCER (June 21-July 22)

You might find money or you might lose money. Something unexpected will happen to something you own: perhaps it gets lost, stolen or broken. Increased responsibilities with children could be challenging.

LEO (July 23-Aug. 22)

The moon is in your sign, dancing with unpredictable Uranus and at odds with stern Saturn. This makes you ambitious and independent. You're full of original ideas.

VIRGO (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

You might feel ill at ease and not know why. It's a weird combination of being excited, and yet at the same time, being worried. Weird, indeed. Fortunately, these contradicting influences are mild.

LIBRA (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

A female friend might surprise you. This could be a fun experience. Or perhaps they are critical and discouraging for some reason? Or this could be a situation involving more than one person. One person encourages you to be spontaneous, while someone else wags their finger at you.

SCORPIO (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Relations with authority figures are touchy. To begin with, something unusual or surprising will catch you off guard. It could be an offer or an order. It might even sound appealing, but very soon, something negative will occur. Just keep going.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

A sudden opportunity to travel somewhere might excite you. Or perhaps a chance to explore publishing, higher education, the media, medicine and the law will materialize. Then the voice of doom and gloom will put a damper on things.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Keep an eye on your bank account and anything to do with shared property, taxes, debt, inheritances and insurance matters because a few surprises might occur. Make sure you know what's happening. You might also have to deal with a Scrooge-like figure who disapproves of everything. "Humbug!"

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

The moon is opposite your sign, which means you have to be more co-operative with others. Someone might throw you a curveball; in addition, someone in a position of authority might be a wet blanket.

PISCES (Feb. 19-March 20)

Your work routine will be interrupted, perhaps due to technology glitches or the introduction of new electronics. Could be anything. Travel plans or chances to explore higher education, publishing, media, medicine and law will be stifled.

TODAY'S BIRTHDAY

Actress Lizzy Caplan (1982) shares your birthday. You have excellent money savvy and many of you cultivate particular technical skills to earn money, but you need to be motivated and ready to rise to the challenge of competition. You guard your privacy, even if extroverted. This year you are like the bud of a plant ready to grow. Learn and educate yourself if possible.
